Stayed for almost a week around the July 4th holiday. Great park. Clean. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Campground organized events. Great location. Gravel roads but concrete pads. Would stay again. We camped at Sturgis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park, Wall, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is old and run down. Yes it is close to downtown Wall and the Badlands but that is its only redeeming quality. The pads and roads are dirt and very uneven and filled with potholes. When it rains, water pools everywhere. Oh, and the water in the pool was green. The manager said he needed to "shock it", but it the water stayed the same color for the entire week we were there. Sadly, your options are limited in this area. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Sky Camp and RV Park, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

First off, the owners are very, very nice. Park is a little tired and really needs a facelift but a great place to stay for a few nights. Gravel roads but everything was fairly level. Most occupants were overnighters. Would stay here again. We stayed on June 25 and the pool was not open yet. They told me they close (shut off the water) around early October. We camped at Big Sky Camp and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Panguitch KOA, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

First of all, the owners are two of the nicest people we have ever come across (and we have stayed in numerous KOAs). The bathrooms were spotless, the grounds were well maintained and they had good water pressure. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 Stars was the fact that the roads are gravel and the pads are gravel as well so water tends to accumulate when it rains. Other than that we had a wonderful time here. We camped at Panguitch KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stampede RV Park, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

NEVER.. NO NOT EVER! Free flowing sewage! And not for big rigs. My wife and I have been traveling the country for a year and a half and have stayed in over 75 RV parks. This one wins the award for the WORST, most outdated park we have ever stayed at. The lots are extremely narrow (one 40 foot 5th-wheel did some serious damage to the back of its rig as it tried to navigate one of the narrow turns in the park). There was maybe three feet between our slide-out and neighbors camper. Another incident occurred as I was emptying my black tank. I suddenly began to smell something really foul. At first I thought it was coming from our rig, but as I looked around, I saw the culprit: raw sewage was squirting up through a pipe (see picture) two lots up from me and flowing across the parking lot. When I told the owners, they did not seem alarmed and blamed it on people putting wet-wipes down their black tanks (why would a camper do this?). We would never return. Unless you're pulling a small travel trailer, avoid this park like the plague! We camped at Stampede RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Cove RV Park, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here from 2/27 - 3/04/19 and had a great time. The staff was extremely friendly and we found the park to be in a great location with clean bathrooms/showers. We asked if we could change our site from a "buddy" site, to something with a little more room. They gladly accommodated us. We stayed in a pull-through site on the upper level and had lots of room. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Cedar Cove for a wonderful week! We camped at Cedar Cove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
