March, 2019 -
Washrooms are clean, grounds are mowed. Registration consisted of calling four of the six numbers randomly written on a whiteboard posted on the outside of the office. The hostess came up the road while I was waiting for the fourth number to answer. Wifi password was delivered on the second day, rules on the third day & electricity bill on the fourth day. Despite $3 per day electrical fee, electrical heater use not allowed. Large kiddies pool littered with leaves & debris, not cleaned before I left. Clubhouse small & cluttered with furniture, broken items & personal items; ceiling stained & falling down. Laundry room IN the clubhouse, no divider/wall: 2 washers/2 dryers. Neither dryer was working properly despite hostess saying they were. One had no power to it and the other kept overheating & turning off. This campground is inexpensive, suitable for children, room to run around, kiddie pool, but not up to the standards I have seen in all other Coast facilities I have visited. We camped at Hillcrest RV Park (formerly Timber Lodge Resort) in a Motorhome.
Outlet mall in Conroe, advertised as a feature, has only three outlet-type shops left occupied as of March 2019.
