Boone RV Park, Lampasas, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Pros: Convenient, Clean Bath House and Laundry, Sale propane onsite, some shade, picnic tables Cons: Lots are close together, Pecan trees produce sticky mist that got all over camper and truck, located right on State HWY 281 and the traffic noise is really loud. WiFi spotty, pot holes and confusing entrance. Need better signage as to which entrance to enter. New section is next to a Bowling Alley / Mini Golf /Arcade / Skating Rink and they have Bands on weekends and it very loud, especially if you are in the new section. We camped at Boone RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Country Kitchen has very good home cooked meals. There is a Walmart near by as well as a smaller HEB. There are several restaurants in Lampasas. Putters and Gutters is right net door to Boone RV Park and they have a good restaurant / bar and have a pretty diverse menu. Can recommend The Cake Lady and the Rolling Pin Bakery as well as Giovanni's Italian Restaurant and Alfrado's . There is a beautiful Community Park and Golf Course within walking distance.
