Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park), Commerce, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Not a great experience staying here. We stayed here for one night. We had a pull-thru; lots are very narrow. We had to pull way up on our site so our slide would not hit our neighbors awning. Our site was dirt, it had rained earlier in the day, so it was very muddy. It was, however, level. Interior roads are full of pot holes and hard to navigate. Low voltage on one leg. No cable and no wifi, no picnic table. We camped at Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Montgomery South RV Park, Hope Hull, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night. Easy access off of I-65. Lots are level, some have shade. Owners very nice and helpful. Some highway noise (to be expected). Easy to get around in park. Felt the cost was a tad high -- no cable tv. Wifi worked great. We camped at Montgomery South RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bayou Segnette State Park, Westwego, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Well-maintained park, beautiful park. All sites are back-in; some have wooden patios. This is a nice, quiet park to stay at while visiting New Orleans. Feel the cost is a tad high, there is no wifi, sewer or cable tv. We enjoyed our stay here. This was our second time at this park and we would stay here again. We camped at Bayou Segnette State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Head down to Algiers Point (the park has info on it) and hop on the ferry for a 5 min ride across the Mississippi to the Quarter. The ferry drops you off at Canal Street (near the aquarium). Parking is $5 all day. Cost of ferry is $2 per person each way.

Frog City RV Park, Duson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small CG right off of I-10 tucked behind a Super 8 Motel. Excellent for an overnight. There is some road noise, but it is minimal. Wifi is excellent. Interior roads are gravel, could be muddy if raining. Pads are also gravel; sites are very level. Due to lack of shade, it could be very hot during the summer months. We stay at this park often when traveling from TX to NC. Very friendly staff, customer service is top-notch. Park is very clean, grass is mowed. Not much to do in the area... Highly recommend. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small to medium park which is set in a working pecan grove. Sites are staggered, which is nice as you can look out your window and not see the RV next to you. The owners are very friendly, as is the majority of the office workers. Two nice clubhouses, as well as a dance hall are available. The wifi is weak and intermittent. This is a nice, quiet park. Deer roam the back orchard; they are always fun to watch. Our rate was a monthly rate. We camped at Johnson Creek RV Resort & Park in a Fifth Wheel.
