Jetty Park Campground, Cape Canaveral, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Jetty Park Campground at Port Canaveral has so much going for it, but there is currently one downside you need to beware of. The park has great access to the beach. You can walk to at least two eating and drinking venues. You can also watch rocket launches and view the many ships that pass by in the channel right in front of the park. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The park has a large, clean office and store. The downside for me was the construction noise going on right across the fence from our camping spot. Everyday from around 6am to 4pm the loud noises of construction equipment begins with the constant beeping of backup alarms, heavy equipment rumbling and the chatter of pneumatic tools. This daily onslaught of noise really degraded my overall experience. They appear to be building an enormous cruise boat terminal and I don't see an end to it anytime soon. and some of the back in sites are on grass and you will need levelers they are not level. We camped at Jetty Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Delta Village RV Park, Leland, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived early in the evening after a long day of driving to avoid a powerful line of thunderstorms. The office was closed but we were able to contact the manager and owner by phone. The RV park was full but we were graciously given the option to stay in the adjoining parking lot. The owner met us in the parking lot and made sure we had everything we needed to dry camp, including a free bag of ice which came from his personal office's ice-maker. We highly recommend this park for its cleanliness, hospitality and wonderful southern charm. Thank you for your kindness! We camped at Delta Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Alexandria RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have been full-timing in our RV for 6 months and have stayed at many RV parks. We have figured out what we like and do not like about RV parks and this park hit all of our happy buttons. It is wonderfully well-maintained for a quiet stay in Alexandria. The grounds were clean and well manicured. Immaculate shower and restroom facilities. All the hookups (water, sewer, and 30/50 amp electricity) worked perfectly. No cable, but great WiFi (I was getting 90 Mbs download speeds). Great ATT and Verizon signal strength. All sites are back-in and large enough for big rigs and pull behinds. There is a big area for hookup/unhook any tow vehicles. Lots of trees on most sites with grassy areas. Plenty of space for the kids and pets to run. Quiet and peaceful with very little to no road noise. The only sounds overnight were the crickets and beetles. Sites were gravel and level. We really really love this place and we will back the next time we're passing through. We camped at Alexandria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Island KOA, Doniphan, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Be advised The KOA Gand Island in Doniphan Nebraska does not have any laundry machines available.According to staff there is a problem with the septic system that the laundry uses and ALL of the washing machines can not be used. The closest laundry is a short drive away. The ETA to solve the problem is unknown. So plan according. Other wise this is a wonderful KOA. We camped at Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Creekside RV Park and Campground, Chappell, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a small but spacious rv campground where you can walk and explore the area, Creekside is awesome. The campground and facilities are lovely and clean. The owners are very nice and the huge open grassy land surrounding the park is a fantastic place for your dogs to frolic. There is even a lovely creek that winds through the property and "chirping" frogs that leap into the water if you get too close and wild turkeys. The town of Chappell is within easy walking distance and has a well-stocked grocery store. Across the road leading into the park is a memorial to the 10 souls who were killed during WWII in a B-24J Bomber crash that occurred about two miles outside of Chappell. Next to the memorial is a lake with a bike/walking path. My husband wanted to spend more time here and we'll definitely be back. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

The park gives a discount for Vet's and Good Same. There is a golf course near by. Do not miss the historical marker about the B-25 crash and the walk around the city park lake on the walking path. The small town of Chappell is a easy short walk for groceries and good eats the local food is wonderful

Seal Rocks RV Cove, Seal Rock, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A very neat and friendly Rv park. Right off Hwy 101. with great beach access. What we did not like was the intermittent slow to no internet. We could not get a ATT or Verzion signal strong enough to use our hotspot at our site so we had to rely on the parks Internet and as we all know it works well at 2 am but not at 2 pm due to network traffic. So be aware of the possibility of poor internet options. and poor cell service. Though this may depend on your site. Overall a great park with great views. If your a big rig you may have issues so look it over carefully. The staff was friendly the place is well run. We could only stay 3 nights as we really needed better cell and internet service. but this park is really worth a stop just call ahead it fills up fast and is very popular. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

Wildwood RV Park, Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A Real Find! This park is extremely well run and very quiet. The owners have put their heart and soul into the park and it shows. It is and clean and neat. The bathrooms are very tidy. This is the perfect place to take the family. It is very kid-friendly. They can fish or shoot basketball hoops. There is also a large group area that is wonderful for family reunions or club/church outings. I was so impressed with the hands-on friendly staff. WiFi is fast and there's a great vibe about this campground that will make you want to come back and spend more time here. We will definitely stay here again the next time we pass through. Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great RV Park, Quite, well run, clean and very friendly staff. The bathrooms were very clean but when someone flushes the toliet you need to step back, you lose water pressure and the water gets really hot, I do hope they can fix this minor annoyance, other than that it is really really great park and we will be back. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Geneseo Campground, Geneseo, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

All most perfect, the only down point was the lack of water pressure for the showers, The bathhouse was very clean, The Staff friendly, our site was gravel and level the wifi was very fast. Due to the time of year it was very buggy that was not the fault of the camp. So no one was getting much outside time. There is a wonderful walking path along the canal, all in all a great place. We only spent one night and it did fill up pretty fast after 4pm. We camped at Geneseo Campground in a Motorhome.
