The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained RV park and sites. Well maintained hookups. The office staff were professional, courteous and helpful. Great little game room/open area right next to the pool and hot tub. Pool tables and corn hole games. Bathrooms/showers and laundry facilities are very clean and fresh smelling, despite there being a noticeable musty smell in the hallway leading to those area. We camped 2 days in a 33' motorhome. We camped at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads in a Motorhome.

Cross Winds Family Campground, Linwood, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very well maintained campground. The office staff was courteous, professional and accommodating. The campground looks to be recently expanded. Our site was and end site at the beginning of the newly expanded area - very pretty and newer landscaping. Exploring the campground we came to the fishing pond with very friendly ducks and pretty views. If we camp here again, I would recommend the "B" sites if you want more woodsy and private. The connections were well maintained; however, this was the only campground we've been too so far that you shared water and cable connections with the site next to you. Super clean bathrooms/showers and laundry - 10 stars for those themselves. We camped 2 days in a 33' motorhome. We camped at Cross Winds Family Campground in a Motorhome.

River Valley Campground, Cherokee, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

What an absolute GEM!!! This was by far the best campground we stayed at during a 3 week, 9 campground tour. Set down in a valley along the river, this campground was amazing. Our site backed up to the river, and the fish and feathered friends were daily visitors. The sites were well set apart, very quiet and relaxing. The office staff was professional, courteous and accommodating. All amenities were well maintained. I did not have cell service (AT&T) but WIFI was available. However more time was spent relaxing by the river or exploring the campground, so phone weren't a priority. We camped for 2 days in a 33' motorhome. We camped at River Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained park. Great historic background to the park and conveniently located. The sites are set up very well and drain well (we arrived after a big rain). Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice state park up on a mountain and very woodsy. The staff was very professional and accommodating. This was an unexpected stop due to rain storms. We were pleased with the sites being well drained. In between the rainfall we were able to explore the park and find beautiful view over Huntsville. We camped in a 33' motorhome. We camped at Monte Sano State Park in a Motorhome.

French Quarter RV Resort, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $128.00
Overall Rating:

Manicured to a tee! This RV park surprised us, especially being right near I-10 and the French Quarter. We pulled up to a gated park, were immediately greeted and escorted in. The park is paved, cobble stone pads, gazebos, extremely clean with private showers, laundry and pool/hot tub. The park was a short 10 min walk to Bourbon Street - super convenient and located behind the visitors center and police station. The office staff was very professional and helpful with maps and guidance of where to visit. We felt very safe despite the park having razor wire (very professional looking) on top of the high block walls surrounding it. All amenities were well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and camped in a 33' motorhome. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Looks can be deceiving in a very good way. This park is small (approximately 12 sites) but big on personality. We were greeted upon arrival and escorted to our site and even helped backing into the site. The office personnel were courteous, professional and extremely accommodating. The office itself had everything your could need...from necessity items to bike/kayak rentals. The owners were very helpful as our cable TV cord was just slightly too short to hook up, so they let us borrow a connector. The park is located across from the beach which as beautiful. We took advantage of the bike rentals and explored the entire island. Bike trails made it so easy and pleasant. We camped for 2 nights in a 33' motorhome. We camped at Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Blythe Island Regional Park Campground, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful campground! Upon arrival we were greeted by 3 of the parks very tame rabbits. These were not your average white tails rabbits, they looked like pets. The office personnel were super friendly and efficient. The told us there were over 200 bunnies all around the park. The park was easy to navigate, our site was well maintained and easy to hook up. Woodsy and quiet. We explored to find beautiful views of the South Brunswick River at the fishing pier and boat ramp. We camped for one night in a 33' motorhome. We recommend staying here if you get the chance. We camped at Blythe Island Regional Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Terrific park! The staff and facilities were excellent. From the gate house employee to the gift shop/office and grounds employees, everyone was professional and kind.
