Heise Hot Springs, Ririe, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Not big rig friendly. Good place for kids but not good for adults that prefer peace and quiet. Loud music, ATVs continually up and down the road (at speed), zip line whizzing past all day and dogs chained to the trees barking. The camp host in the Big Rock section has a major attitude. Clean, grassy site with mature trees but hanging branches. Extremely tight turns in the campground and tight windy roads leading to the campground. Don't even consider pulling a big rig into the check in area as to get out requires several 3-point turns and then a very tight u-turn back onto the road. We camped at Heise Hot Springs in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, very clean, gravel site. Bus directly across the street takes you into central San Antonio for $1.30. Roads in the campground are a bit tight so recommend unhooking your tow as soon as you enter the campground. Call the park for directions as there is a low clearance bridge that needs to be avoided. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, level, and pretty campground considering it is a parking lot in the middle of Vegas. The thing that let it down was the attitude of the staff. When checking in you are given a notice that if you are not going to rate it a 10 to give them the opportunity to make things right. When asking the staff to help with an issue we were treated like the staff could care less. There is a shuttle to the Strip and Downtown area but beware of the schedule as it runs every 4 hours. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town in a Motorhome.

Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very narrow and only allow for slide outs, no room for sitting out. Unlevel sites and the wooded area is primarily for tents. Campground is functional as a stopping place for visiting Santa Fe. Washing machines are brand new and the price per machine reflects this; $4 per wash. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.
