Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49, Marthaville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park overall, but water is a little awkward to get on and doesn't seen to have full pressure. The roads are a little tight especially at the entrance . We will definitely be back. We camped at Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49 in a Motorhome.

Nice place. Located off the interstate 1 mile, but you can still hear it. The sites are very level, and there is good water and electric. A great overnight spot. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with friendly and helpful staff. Has easy access. Was a little noisy but not bad over all. They were even nice enough to recommend a park for the next night, even though it was not part of their corporate chain. We camped at American RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Horseshoe RV Park (formerly RL RV Park LLC), Ranger, Texas

Overall Rating:

I agree with the prior poster. Friendly staff, nice little fishing lake, not worth the posted rate. But well taken care of, with nice big sites. We camped at Horseshoe RV Park (formerly RL RV Park LLC) in a Motorhome.

The Tiffany RV Park and Apartments, Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The owners of this park are very friendly but that is all the good to say for the park. Sites are all back-ins with no cable TV, no amenities of any kind. Sites are very small with all utilities are in the back. The sewer hookup is under the back of the coach making it very difficult to get at. Would go back if I couldn't find any place else, but that probably would go for all back-in parks We camped at The Tiffany RV Park and Apartments in a Motorhome.

Apache Flats RV Resort (Military FamCamp), Sierra Vista, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Coming from an asphault parking lot, with neighbors a slide and a half away, this is what camping is all about and what it should be. We camped at Apache Flats RV Resort (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Big Texan RV Ranch (formerly Amarillo Ranch RV Park), Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We have been staying here for 4 years and using PA. For the PA rate it is an OK park. We had been staying in a part of the park that had tables and was not side by side even though it was only a pea gravel lot. This time PA rate only gets to the back of the park in side by side sites with no tables, and when I asked the manager about this I was told no exceptions, and I would park where he wanted to put me not where I wanted to be. So I told them that from now on I will park in some other park in this area. We will not be back. We camped at Big Texan RV Ranch (formerly Amarillo Ranch RV Park) in a Motorhome.

San Antonio / Alamo KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Got in early and they set me up in a site with lots of trees. But we wanted to use our satellite dish so they were nice enough to move us to a better site. Row A and B have the only open sky sites. Sites were level, easy hookup but Wi-Fi was almost non existent. Only worked 2 days of the 4 days we stayed, the rest of the time we used our air card. I would stay here again. We camped at San Antonio / Alamo KOA in a Motorhome.

Austin Lone Star RV Resort, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Nice shady park with bushes separating the sites. Friendly staff, easy check in. The only complaint is currently they are putting in new wiring and water, and are leaving some mud around. So be careful as it will track into your rig. Would stay here again We camped at Austin Lone Star RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, big spaces a little on the short side for some of the pull-throughs. A two dollar a day per dog charge and close to the highway (99) but below it and hardly noticeable. Good Wi-Fi and utilities Very friendly staff . Would stay here again (we were here for two weeks). We camped at Bakersfield River Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Morro Dunes RV Park, Morro Bay, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Ths park is located next to a 24 hr recycling center and you get to hear it all night. They allow pets, but it is not pet friendly with the manager making sure the polices are explained to you. Sites are nor level. The dog walk is a small space with no grass and don't let your dog get out of that area to do its business. We wont be coming back here. We camped at Morro Dunes RV Park in a Motorhome.

San Francisco RV Resort, Pacifica, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Pluses - Close to the city, great views, friendly and helpful staff. Minuses - Asphalt parking lot. I have seen storage lots with more space between rigs. Long term rigs tend to rust out and there are a few of them. I will come back here only because it is close to family and friends. We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

While all the amenities are there the WiFi is horrible. We have been in the same area for the last 2 years and in both cases we were told we are working to get it better but it is ATT fault not ours not buying that any more will find some where else to stay while in Bakersfield We camped at Bakersfield RV Resort in a Motorhome.
