Marval Family Camping Resort, Gore, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

I would have given them a 10 as this campground has it all except decent trash pickup. You have to take your trash down a road 1/2 mile to put it in the dumpster. With all the work-campers here I can't imagine they can't have trash cans closer to the sites and pick them up daily. We camped at Marval Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Not a bad campground but they sure used the wrong size rocks to re gravel the roads. We stayed in the back and felt it was fairly quiet nice grounds good dog walk are, Wi-Fi some of the best and lots of cable channels, would stay here again. We camped at Gunsmoke RV Park in a Motorhome.

Reno KOA at Boomtown, Verdi, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are not level; the laundry and bath rooms are in the office. When the office is closed, so are they. Wifi is terrible and the office staff could care less. Will hand you a paper to call the provider. Way overpriced for what you get. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Motorhome.

Kimball RV Park, Kimball, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park ki clean and there is not much in the store. The WiFi works but if you are in the center row, and back aways, with rigs sitting between you and the antenna: forget it. Has a friendly staff. Don't know where Woodalls comes up with their numbers, but this is not a 8 or 9 campground. We camped at Kimball RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crossroads RV Park, Mount Pleasant, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park, friendly staff, and easy to pull in spaces. There is no pool, a small grocery store, no ice and a pop machine. This is a nice overnight spot, not for long term stays unless you are working in the area. The office has some odd hours: 4 to 7 in the evening and 8 to 11 in the morning. We camped at Crossroads RV Park in a Motorhome.

Angola / Hogback Lake KOA, Angola, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

One big surprise! Got a site backed up to the fishing pond, which had good shade. While other responders are right, most of these 300 sites are seasonal, they are kept in good shape. Some of the pull-through's are in the sun but they are the only ones. Staff was friendly lots of space between rigs would definitely come back, (and the fishing was great.) We camped at Angola / Hogback Lake KOA in a Motorhome.

Salem Farms Campground, Salem, Connecticut

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This park is strictly for seasonal. The transients get put in one section that is the worst set up I have ever seen. Sites are unlevel all utilities are grouped together 4 to a pole, roads in and out of section is rutted and full of holes. Staff is the owners kids and if you make one unhappy their father the most foul mouthed bully I have ever seen in a public place will come to your rig and threaten to throw you out as this is his campground. Would not go back there under any circumstances. We camped at Salem Farms Campground in a Motorhome.

Stanton / Meramec KOA, Stanton, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to find the park. The electric and water pressure was good. Clean park nice with dog area. Some of the sites have new gravel and someone did not get it level. On our site the gravel in rear was low forcing us to use extra step. We would stay there again We camped at Stanton / Meramec KOA in a Motorhome.

Wright's Orchard Station Campground, Duncansville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

With a pool and activities for kids this would be a 10. All 50 amp sites are back in; the pull thrus are 30 amp; lots of trees on the side of a hill. To access the campground the entrance looks like you are going into another type of business and not a campground. You drive past self storage units, up a narrow gravel road ,make a sharp turn at the top, and you are in front of the office. All in all, quiet clean and relaxing place. We camped at Wright's Orchard Station Campground in a Motorhome.
