Osage Prairie RV Park, Nevada, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel sites, buddy-type. Access off frontage road next to highway so some road noise. Pool, mini golf, playground & horse (pony) on site. Very accommodating hosts. We camped at Osage Prairie RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Blue Heron Campground & Resort, Flippin, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park right on white river. Gravel sites, not terribly level, full hookups. Park is nestled in a valley alongside river with huge bluff rising across the water. There is a heavily travelled bridge over river & road noise is fairly constant but couldn't hear it inside trailer. The view of fog rising off river each morning was a fair trade off. Maintenance guy was huge help when I blew fuse in trailer jack & later replacing break away box on trailer. We camped at Blue Heron Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Murfreesboro RV Park, Murfreesboro, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Smallest park I've stayed in. 10 sites, 1 pull-thru. Manager agreed to back me into site & did an excellent job getting trailer nice & level on gravel site. While small park is quite lovely with full hookups & fire pit. Managers are very agreeable & offer diamond hunting training & supplies (if you stay 3 or more nites). Very reasonable rates. We camped at Murfreesboro RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are a few historical sites in town but main draw is diamond mines in nearby state park. The state park is lovely w/hiking trails, water park, & restaurant (latter 2 open Memorial day to Labor day).
