Mt. Greylock Campsite Park (formerly Hidden Valley Campground), Lanesborough, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very tight spots to pull into for an RV, dirt road is a bit sketchy leading into the park, and the dump station is muddy and could use widening. Otherwise, this is a cute park with a state park like feel. Good for a quick stay. We camped at Mt. Greylock Campsite Park (formerly Hidden Valley Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Lake George Escape Campground, Diamond Point, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

Had terrible time with out electric hookups. Had to move sites because 50 amp rigs were running too many air conditioners and pulling electricity from 30 amp sites. Caused our electric to trip. Staff did move us to a much nicer site, but overall this campground was run down and way to bust/crowded. Sites nothing special. We camped at Lake George Escape Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camden Hills State Park, Camden, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Terrible experience at this park. Arrived with a reservation for a wooded site and when we checked in we were told our site had been moved. The staff was absolutely no help at getting us another site and where they wanted to put us was in a wide-open, grassy field that was flooded! Would not recommend this park. We left and drove up to Searsport and found a MUCH better park. We camped at Camden Hills State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for two nights in June while visiting southern Maine. OK stay for the most part. Nothing really special - lots of seasonal residents. OK for a quick stay. We camped at Sea-Vu Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Oak Haven Family Campground, Wales, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, smaller size family run campground. Mostly seasonal residents who take great pride in keeping their sites clean and well manicured. RVs look newer too. We stayed here for one night as a stop-over stay on our way to CT. We had a spot on Snobb Hill - the grassy field where short-term stays are housed. It was fine for what we needed for that one night. There are other spots in the wooded area for longer stays. 69A is a nice, secluded spot. Would recommend for a quick stay. As others have posted, there is nothing to do in this area except for Sturbridge Village so just know that. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. We camped at Oak Haven Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Keyser Pond Campground, Henniker, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for one night on our way up north to White Mountains. This is a small campground of mostly seasonal residents with older RVs. We had a spot near the lake beach area. We were the only ones in that small area so no issues with pulling in or privacy. If all the spots were filled, it would be tight and crowded. Overall, this was a good campground for a one night stop. We camped at Keyser Pond Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hid'n Pines Family Campground, Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $83.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 3 nights in June 2019. This looked to be the nicest RV park in the area. We had a good RV site in the back of the park with full hook-ups. For the first two nights we had no neighbors, so enjoyed the relative privacy. When Saturday came around, the park filled up and it was very busy. Lots of folks from Quebec. Overall a nice campground in the Old Orchard Beach area. Just know that it definitely has that RV park feel - lots of kids, dogs, raffles going on, folks who enjoy that resort-ish feel. We camped at Hid'n Pines Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Searsport Shores Oceanfront Campground, Searsport, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $101.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in a Gold oceanfront site for 2 nights. View from site was excellent - overlooking bay. The price reflects the site type. Ocean view = expensive. We had electric and water (no sewer), so had to pump when leaving. Campground is a nice family park with lots of artsy feel to it. There are sheep and goats and it's convenient to Camden. We camped at Searsport Shores Oceanfront Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Chocorua KOA , West Ossipee, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $86.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two nights in June 2019. Was our first experience staying at a KOA campground. Overall, impression was just OK. The campground roads are very difficult to navigate and the RV spots are close together. We had no privacy between our spot and our neighbors. We camped at Chocorua KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Cozy Hills Campground, Bantam, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Park just OK. Very pricey for what you get. The sites are very close together so no privacy and the lake is nothing special. The dump station is outdated and blocks traffic leaving the park. We camped at Cozy Hills Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Burlingame State Park, Charlestown, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two nights in early April with our travel trailer. Since it was early in the season the park was very uncrowded. Stayed in the Fish Camp section near lake. Will be going back to stay in another area of the park in July. Staff very welcoming, facility well groomed, and great location across from public beaches. Overall a very nice state park camping experience. We camped at Burlingame State Park in a Travel Trailer.
