Tiki RV Park & Campground, Saint Ignace, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Tiki RV Park has a great location in St. Ignace. We had spot #85 which is a pull into motorhome site. The site had a view of the water which was very nice. We had FHU and everything worked well. The water pressure is quite high so be careful. My only real complaint is that the roads are just dirt. It looks like they use to be gravel at one time but now its just dirt. So are the campsites. It didn't rain while we were there, but I imagine it would be very muddy. We used our Passport America discount for 3 of our 5 nights but they require you to pay full price for the other days even though they take Good Sams. We would stay here again as long as they keep the prices reasonable. We camped at Tiki RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Airstream Factory Terraport, Jackson Center, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Great little park right across from the service bays. We were allowed to stay here in a non-Airstream as long as we waited until after 4pm and no campers in service needed it. For $10, this park is great. Its old and the utilities were a little wonky, but its $10!!! Our ATT phones had difficulty connecting even for a phone call. Verizon and a tower in the area, but ATT does not. Sites share a power pole with one 30 and one 50. If the person next to you uses the 50amp you have to use the 30amp. We camped at Airstream Factory Terraport in a Motorhome.

OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park, Berea, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

OH! Kentucky RV Park is right off I-75 in Berea. There really isn't anything in Berea, but we stayed here for 2 night to get off the road. The park is "good" but not great. The roads and sites are gravel and did puddle in the rain. It would have been nicer if the gravel was replenished and graded on a regular basis. The electrical, sewer and water worked fine. The water pressure was quite high so use a regulator. The biggest hit for this park is the lack of a pool. They have had some major issues with a new pool that has been under construction for 3 years. When we first decided to stay here we saw an old photo of the pool they use to have in the campground. Don't stay here if a pool is a important to you. Your kids will not be happy. Otherwise, the park was fine and good value. We drove through the Passport America park right across from Oh Kentucky and it was horrible. Much better option to stay here.... hands down. We camped at OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We went to dinner across the highway at a place called The Dinner Bell. Cute place if your looking for something local and not just Cracker Barrel.

Riverside Campground & Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent RV park. They have lots of spaces and an entire section of pull through's that are very long. Campground was very easy to navigate with our big rig motorhome. The owners are very nice, very christian and even have a Sunday worship. They kept the park very clean. There was always someone cleaning, mowing or regrading the roads. The roads are gravel but easy to use. This park is closer to I40 and not in the crazy Pigeon Forge area. We found is easy to drive down when we wanted. Its less noisy and much quieter than the parks closer to the Smokey Mountains National Park. We went into the National Park several times. Great bear sightings in Cades Cove. Highly recommend a drive through that area. We will stay here again and the price is very competitive for the area. Hopefully they will keep it this way or eventually it would make sense to stay closer to Pigeon Forge. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Motorhome.

Parnell Creek RV Park, Woodville, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice roadside RV park for a night or two. The owners were very nice. The campground is all gravel and a little hard to navigate with a big rig. Our pull through had some trees that were hitting our roof and slides. We asked to have them trimmed which was difficult for them as the used a saw with a tall ladder. I think the park needs to trim their trees before they can claim they are big rig friendly. We saw the pool, but didn't use it. I was clean but just not inviting. For the price, this park is perfect. No reason not to stay again. The power, sewer and water as advertised. Everything reached without any extensions. As noted by others, there is road noise from the adjacent freeway, but that is really why we stayed here so it didn't bother us at all. We will stay again. We camped at Parnell Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shallow Creek Golf & RV Resort, Gladewater, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Shallow Creek RV Park for a week which accounts for the $25 per night. For the price, this park is excellent. The pool is one of the nicest we have seen at any RV park. The park is a little hard to maneuver with a big rig motorhome. I wouldn't call this a "big rig friendly" campground. As mentioned in other reviews the exit is narrow with a huge dip. We asked them to allow us to leave via the entrance. They had someone stand at the street to allow us to exit. The utilities are very good. Cable was not in HD and we found it better to use OTA channels. The WIFI at this park is FANTASTIC!! Best we have ever seen. The have a 5ghz tower than runs at 50+mbps. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Shallow Creek Golf & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Brazos Valley RV Park, Caldwell, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at the Brazos Valley RV Park twice in the last 6 months. It's a great park located just outside of Bryan / College Station. The park is pretty much brand new. The sites are long, level and very well manicured. We didn't have to disconnect our car from our motorhome. The owner of the park came by in the early evening to greet us and make sure everything was in order. The pool is small, but very clean. We were given a site right next to the pool which was very nice. You will hear the road noise from Hwy 21, but its not bad. We will definitely stay again. Our AT&T hotspot worked well. The cable was good, although not HD for our TVs. We camped at Brazos Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.
