Prairie Oasis Campground and Cabins, Henderson, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night at this very nice small park with grass and trees. Our pull-through site was level enough and long enough that we didn't need to unhitch. There is a pond with paddle boats available. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We camped at Prairie Oasis Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Amana Colonies RV Park, Amana, Iowa

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a huge RV park - essentially a large meadow with hookups - and has meeting rooms so a lot of people were here for various rallies, training meetings, etc. It is located in the country but close to the Amana villages with good access to Iowa City and a Costco. We had what would have been a back-in site but since no one had booked the site behind us, we were able to pull through. The site was grass but level. There's good gravel roads so we were able to get in a 3-mile walk each morning by walking mostly around the perimeter and main roads of the park (it is big!). We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

LaSalle / Peru KOA, Utica, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night. It is a small RV park but it was great for our one night stay. It is located in the country but close to I-80 and a short drive to a Walmart for groceries, etc. Our site was a pull-through. The campground has some really great sites for tent camping. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and along the quiet country road on which the campground is located. We camped at LaSalle / Peru KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Shipshewana Campground North Park, Shipshewana, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two nights after picking up our new travel trailer in Shipshewana. Our site was gravel but level; the area had lots of trees and grass and the location was great for seeing the sights of Shipshewana (which is a great place to visit). We camped at Shipshewana Campground North Park in a Travel Trailer.
