Catalina State Park, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely State Park just north of Tucson. Hiking and some biking available. The park has large sites with plenty of space for the biggest rigs. The outside ring of Campground B has the biggest sites with the most unobstructed views. Good power. Modest water pressure. Dump station available. The park is about fifteen minutes from downtown Tucson. No open fires are allowed. Bring a bag of charcoal for the grill provided. We camped at Catalina State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

This is a hidden gem of an RV park, five minutes from downtown Santa Fe and with a bus stop just at the entrance to the park. The park has full hook-ups including cable and wi-fi. The owners and people working at the park really love what they do and it shows in how the treat their guests. Everyone gets a cheery hello from everyone you meet. The park is packed with class As but is not the usual parallel parking lot. The spaces have some trees and shade. The sites are clean and level. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.
