Twin Butte Campground, Bowman, North Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Family owned park. Easy check-in and very nice staff. There are 15 sites with electricity only. In the front of the park is a centralized "well" water spigot for all sites and towards the rear is a centralized dump station. Sites are grass and fairly level. One table at each site. The perimeter is lines with mature trees. Behind the park is a large wheat field. One male/female shower for the entire park. Cash transactions only. We camped at Twin Butte Campground in a Motorhome.

Yanks RV Resort, Greenfield, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The facility is very clean and well kept. The sites are good size cement pads that are fairly level with nice space between each site. Three site levels: Standard Back In 50', Deluxe Pull Through 70' and Premium Pull Through 100'. The park has private shower/bathrooms, as well as public shower/bathroom, pool, fitness center, horseshoe pit, club room, reasonable laundry fees and a dog wash. The facility is surrounded by agriculture, so we experienced no outside noise. There was A LOT of wind, but that just caused the leaves on the trees to rustle more. Nice landscaping throughout the park. The office opens at 9:00am and closes at 4:00pm (seems early for the office/store to close). We camped at Yanks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Willits KOA, Willits, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Definitely a family oriented facility. During the summers they have ice cream socials, outside movies and organized activities. There are a lot of things for kids 4 - 12 to do and release all of that energy. We had no kids with us, however we really enjoyed hearing all the laughter. Of the three showers in the men's restroom, only two had shower heads. Those that worked were spacious enough to get the job done. The restrooms were fairly clean, however the park itself was well kept and maintained. Miniature golf course for all ages. Had a pool, as well as a kiddie water area. We camped at Willits KOA in a Motorhome.

Riverwalk RV Park, Fortuna, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Look like a lot of "full Timers", but overall a very nice park. Nice showers (individual room with locking door). Nice laundry facility (stayed there twice and used it both times). Park was quiet. Our site was a pull through and had a picnic table. Unique option was an outdoor kitchen for campers use (tent and RV) - stove top, sink for washing dishes and had picnic tables in the area. Reasonable space - would stay here again. We camped at Riverwalk RV Park in a Motorhome.

Klamath River RV Park, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

- 2 stars - the river view was the best thing this place has going for it The check in process was easy and we were directed to our River View site. We parked on a grass pad, which management requested that we limit the outside mat to the size of a standard door mat. The view was very nice. The down side to this facility was very poor internet access and their bathrooms... the main bathroom doors were not coded, no separation between the men's urinals, no doors on the showers... just curtains. Not a very private experience. We camped at Klamath River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Port Orford RV Village, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

4 stars - small and quiet. The bathroom was clean, however dated. The check in process was easy. Unfortunately the owners were off site at the time, so one of the tenants checked us in... cash or check. The gravel site was fairly level. The electrical and cable were the furthest from our coach that we have experienced. The restrooms were clean and bright, however the toilet stalls were very small. We camped at Port Orford RV Village in a Motorhome.

The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

5 stars - great view, spacious site and very accommodating The check-in staff was very professional, cordial and personable. The site was walking distance to overlook the Coos Bay, which was lively with local logging activity. The restrooms were secured by a combination code. The five showers were private, roomy and clean - each with a seating and drying area. A shuttle was available to pick you up from your site and delivered to the casino, with just an easy cell phone call. Also available via a quick call was the sites security service. Decent size laundry facility. Easy access to all amenities. The facility was not gated, but there was a patrolling security staff - felt secure. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Seal Rocks RV Cove, Seal Rock, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We had a site that had a glimpse of the ocean, which provided a great sunset. This site was near one of the bathrooms and trash areas. The road to the site was a dirt/gravel, which passed lots of trees and shrubs. The gravel pad at the site was fairly level. Both the women's and men's restrooms consisted of two toilets, two sinks and one shower (with a recommended 5 minute shower limit - come on: undress, shower and dress). It was reported to me that the women's bath was inadequate for space and the shower was dirty and moldy, which resulted in the low rating. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Motorhome.

Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was right off a major street, which resulted in a lot of vehicle noise throughout the night. The site had a table and a cement pad, as well as full hookups. Bathrooms were a bit dated and too small for the size of the park (over 140 sites). There was a small pool, which was pretty full during the time we were there. Park was clean and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately using the air hand dryer caused all the lights in the men's restroom to go out. There were several "Full Timers" at the park, however the facility was clean and landscaping well maintained. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Waterwheel RV Park, Chiloquin, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This family owned park is very quaint, clean and family oriented. The bathroom, showers and laundry rooms were well maintained and very clean. Sitting on the Williamson River in Oregon, this facility has four site options: River Front RV Sites (W & E), Full Service Pull Through RV Sites (W, E & S), Back In RV Sites (W & E) and Back In RV/Tent Sites (No Service). We stayed at a Back In RV/Tent site, which was on a grass pad. We found the check in staff to be very friendly and personable. The Williamson River is known for large wild rainbow trout, smaller numbers of brown trout and brook trout. When we arrived there was a Father/Daughter Team that had waded out to the center and were fishing together. Not too far from Crater Lake, this was a great place to stay the night or a few days. There is some freeway noise, but not noticeable when conversing or when it is time for bed. Passing through - just stayed one night. There were campers that were out fishing early in the morning and late in the evening We camped at Waterwheel RV Park in a Motorhome.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The check-in staff is very friendly and anxious to assist. The facility is clean and nicely laid out. A gated swimming area is available, as well as a meeting room area, tennis/basketball, bocce ball, horse shoe pit, specialized pet wash facility, gated dog area and a small putting green. The laundry and restrooms are convenient and also well maintained. This is the second time we have stayed at Durango RV and both times we have stayed in a site with a River View. These sites are not level, so be prepared to level your rig. There are not discounts applied to the River View sites, however discounts are allowed at the other sites. Restaurant nearby, easy freeway access, quiet. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.
