Meridian East / Toomsuba KOA , Toomsuba, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was very friendly and tried their best to be helpful. However, the site infrastructure needs refurbishment. Most sites are unlevel, cracked or broken pads (when paved) or rutted gravel. The pool and water slide are nice and would have been a great feature if the campground itself was in better shape. We left a bit disappointed in this KOA. An OK park if you lower your expectations a little bit. The staff really do help to make up for some of the physical drawbacks. We camped at Meridian East / Toomsuba KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Secluded, and quiet, even if close to the Interstate. We only overnighted and it rained that night so we didn't get to really explore the campground as well as we should. But the sheep grazing on the hillside in the morning was a great wake up to go with your coffee. As an overnight spot, I would stay again. Wi-fi and cable were not working or very weak. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Good sites, friendly staff. A good basic RV park. Best Wi-fi and cable I've had at an RV park in a long time. Watch the water pressure! 100+lbs. A pressure regulator is a MUST at this park. Luckily they forewarn you about this at check-in. We camped at The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC), College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Cherry Hill is a little pricey but worth every cent. I've never been in an RV resort that was so well run. There are thousands of parks across the USA that need to learn some lessons from Cherry Hill. Whenever I return to the DC area, this is where I will stay. Very easy and convenient access to the DC mall and the Smithsonian museums by way of the DC Metro bus/subway system. There is even a bus depot at the park so you can just leave your vehicle behind. We camped at Cherry Hill Park (Washington DC) in a Fifth Wheel.
