Valley View RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced, no shade, high winds, not allowed mats, or outside trash at any time, no streaming allowed on weak wifi. Staff rude, onsite laundromat most machines out of order. Everything, gas, groceries, etc in area super over priced, didn't honor Passport America discount, gave a 5.00 discount for military. Staff very rude, no amenities. Lot of money for nothing. Picnic tables plastic, not allowed to cook on them, not allowed to move them, face neighbors sewer. Nice view of mountains. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is probably one of the better campgrounds we've stayed at. The staff is friendly and helpful. The interior roads are gravel with gravel sites, of which ours was pretty level on the sides, but did have to raise the front a ways. There is currently construction at the park, and it is pretty close to the main sites to see in the area. We camped at Buffalo Ridge Camp Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Burnidge Forest Preserve, Paul Wolff Campground, Elgin, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean campground, with only Water & electric available (we used 50 amp) It has 2 dump stations that are easily accessible. Concrete pads are pretty level, but we did have to dip our front end pretty heavily to level front to back. Large fire rings with firewood available for sale on site. They do have a rule about mat size and we did have to bring ours up, as I looked at all the tents pitched in RV sites (with no RV), so not sure what that issue was about. There are a lot of retailers pretty close by. We camped at Burnidge Forest Preserve, Paul Wolff Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
