Longview Lake Campground, Lee's Summit, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice county run park. While the bathrooms and showers are dated, they were clean and well-maintained. The campsites were spacious and seemed decently level. The camp hosts were very accommodating when we had truck problems and had to extend our stay. The campground got busy over the weekend but noise wasn't bad because of the size of the campground. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Longview Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great little stopover site right off the interstate. Pet friendly and very spacious. Only 7 minutes from Rend lake which was kind of neat. Interior roads were great and front desk staff was very helpful. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Soaring Eagle Campground & RV Park, Lenoir City, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was a lovely place for an overnight stop. Literally right off the interstate (take the exit, make a right, and then another right), so convenience for pulling in was great. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and while not very large, they had a nice little store in the office. Other amenities included a pool, propane fillup, and dump station among a few. Showers were clean and well maintained. We had a nice lakeside spot that was easy to access and with a great view. While walking the dogs, we saw that the other campsites were well maintained and it was a rather large park with about 60 spots. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Soaring Eagle Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
