Riverdale Farm Campsites, Clinton, Connecticut

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A good portion of the campground are seasonal sites, which are kept clean and decent. The sites are close together. A cement pad, which have pros and cons. Shuffle board, basketball, horse shoes, tennis court, a playground, an arcade. There is a camp store. The site states there is yoga at 10:00am every Saturday, but when I went to go do it they said they stopped doing it a while ago (take this off your site). Quiet campground. Family-friendly. There is a pond you can swim in with a small beach area with lounge chairs and regular chairs. The adult lounge was never open the whole weekend (August). There were sand fleas that completely got my daughter's hands, feet, and face terribly (17 months old). Our site was covered in a ton of flies. We couldn't eat without 15 or more flies at us. We complained and got "I'm sorry". Thanks for nothing. We have never had a problem elsewhere like this. I wouldn't go back myself. We camped at Riverdale Farm Campsites in a Travel Trailer.
