Pacific City RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Cloverdale, Oregon
Date of Stay:
August, 2017 -
$1.00
Overall Rating:
Cannot recommend this park, it is not big rig friendly, VERY narrow road, part ashaly, part gravel, filled with pot holes, site needed a lot of trimming because of over growth. Water line was broken, sites left without water for almost 24 hours. We received no warning. We stayed here in a 40 footer and will not return. We camped at Pacific City RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Bordertown Casino RV Resort, Reno, Nevada
Date of Stay:
August, 2017 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here in a 40 foot 3 slide motohome with towed. The sites were clean but close. They came will all hookups and were pull thru. Grass on both sides accompanied by a picnic table with stone benches. The interior roads are asphalt and narrow, so narrow that my drivers mirror got clipped by a guy arriving. No damage done. Good power, water pressure good, sewer hook up, wifi not real strong even though there was a repeater right outside our door. AT&T was strong enough to use as a hot spot. The California line is right over the back fence. There was a really good mexican restaurant fairly close, Feliz Mexicano. We camped at Bordertown Casino RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Grand Sierra Resort RV Park, Reno, Nevada
Date of Stay:
July, 2017 -
$40.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here in a 40 foot 3 slide motorhome. The park is an old KOA park. The interior roads are all asphalt just a bare bones park next to the casino. Power was good, water pressure was high and had a warning to use pressure regulator. S short walk and you were alongside the river that flows past. Even tho in the city it was relatively free from street noise. There was a pass card to use the Casino pool. Wifi was ok, but slowed down in the evening. The park was convenient for anywhere in the Reno area. would stay again. We camped at Grand Sierra Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sparks Marina RV Park from the moment we were signed in by Norma to the time that we left a week later it was a great stay. Good 50 amp, plenty of water pressure, use a regulator, good wifi. The sites were all on asphalt with a patch of astro turf on the passengers side. Nice dog run as well, we stayed here in a 40 ft motorhome and would return. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Glorified parking lot. Has good 50 amp, water and sewer, spaces are just big enough to accommodate a big rig and towed. Wifi from the Casino is good. Elements restaurant inside the casino is a jewel. Try the restaurant inside, Elements.

very nice RV park. good 50 amp, water pressure good, also sewer on site, both pull thrus s well as back ins. dog run too. sites have a cement pad, nice picnic table., lots of grass and some trees. The restaurants in the casino are good BUT they are very busy. Take in the flower display outside the casino.

Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$1.00
Overall Rating:
We stayed here for 10 days in a 40 ft MH, and would return. 30 amp only, (good 120 volt power). The water pressure good as was electricity. We were glad to get a sewer site in H loop. Only half the loop has sewer. The staff could not have been more friendly. AT&T is marginal. Forget Satellite TV and only about 7 stations OTA. Overall a nice park to unwind. We camped at Chehalis RV & Camping Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.
A steep hill getting in with a few sharp turns, BUT very navigable.

Overall Rating:
Yikes, what happened to this place? We have stayed here several times in the past, this time it is quite different. The park is full, but many appear to be seasonals. Packed in like sardines. Sewer no longer functional, all sealed up. 30 amp is poor 106 volts. water pressure is ok, AT&T ok, park wifif non existent. we stayed here in a 40 ft MH, we will be looking for an alternative the next time we come up here. We camped at Lake Sawyer RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$50.00
Overall Rating:
Basically a HUGE parking lot with a few trees and grass. Very good water pressure, a reducer is recommended. 50 amp good as well. Sewer also provided. WiFi not so good even with several towers throughout the park. Interior roads a mixture of asphalt and gravel. Sites are all gravel but level. Negotiating your way around the park is easy. Sites are decent size. I was able to leave the car hooked up and not stick out into the road. AT&T OK, but a little slow. We stayed in a 40-footer and would return. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.
Take in dinner at The Cedars Floating Restaurant. Great steaks and a nice setting.

First time in 15 years of fulltiming that I have been given a Veterans discount, $5 at that. 50 amp water sewer all good and convenient to each other, Wifi did not connect. AT&T woked fine. This is basically a park for regulars with several sites for travelers. It is convenient to Missoula. The lady at check in was very nice. There is a small store on site. We stayed here in a 40 ft motorhome and would return. We camped at Turah RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red Trail Campground, Medora, North Dakota
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
The park is convenient to Teddy Roosevelt NP. It had good 50 amp, water pressure, no sewer, wifi was non existent. The lots were quite close. The interior roads became mud holes after the heavy rain. AT&T was good. The staff was friendly but wow, they need to clean out that office. The park itself could use some TLC with signage and mowing. The park is HEAVILY used because of the NP. We stayed her for 3 days and probably not return. We camped at Red Trail Campground in a Motorhome.
Take in the Medora Musical as well as The Pitchfork Fondue dinner. Worth the money. Teddy Roosevelt NP is awesome, a well kept secret. Enjoy breakfast at The Elk Cafe.

Billings Village RV Park, Billings, Montana
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$45.00
Overall Rating:
Good 50 amp, BUT the post was so low to the ground, that I had to get on my hands and knees to plug in, the use of my surge suppressor was impossible. Good water pressure and sewer close by. Lots were asphalt pads with parking adjacent to passenger's door and on the small side with neighbors close by. WiFi had problems fading in and out. I thought $45 was on the steep side for the size of the site.
We probably would not return. We
camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good 50 amp, but bring plenty of power cable, long reach, same with water. Water pressure very good. AT&T signal acceptable. Sat TV depends on site. Lots of trees, quiet park. Near Jamestown but far enough out of town to feel like you are in the country. We camped at Lakeside Marina & Campground in a Motorhome.

Good 50 amp, water pressure fine, sewer hook up. Pad was gravel, but I leveled and then found that I was out of level because my left rear jack had sunk in to the ground by 8 inches. AT&T good, park WiFi just OK. Good location for visit to Mayo or friends in Rochester. We stayed here in a 40 footer and would return. We camped at Autumn Woods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sky High Camping Resort, Portage, Wisconsin
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$26.00
Overall Rating:
Made reservations under Passport America, hence the cheaper rate. We had site 165, a pull through. The site pad was crushed rock and a little narrow, the site itself was nice and wide and long enough to accomodate the 40 fr coach and towed. The towed was on a slope because of the way the site was laid out. AT&T was VERY good as was the park wifi. The wifi is open and free. water pressure was good and also good 50 amp service. The hookups are a little far back so bring extra hose and sewer hose. They had just mowed the grass so it was everywhere. A storm came thru while we were here and the access road turned to mud. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The views from the office are awesome. We stayed here in a 40 ft MH and would return. We camped at Sky High Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
