Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Told them the length of the coach and that we were towing a car. All I was offered for overnight was a 30 amp pull through. Turns out it is too small for our rig without either the front of the coach or the car sticking out into the road (as several others were doing). Desk personnel got snippy with me stating that I had REQUESTED that site - not true. Ended up with 50 amp FHU site. Interior roads are tight and big rocks are all around. All sites are set up for 5th wheels/trailers, not for motorhomes. Most motorhomes appeared to have unhooked their cars because of the short sites. Will never return here! We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Overnight stop under PPA. Site was TIGHT, just enough room to get in. Thankfully people next to us left to go shopping so we could get out in the morning. Only 30 amp available for PPA, which was ok for the night since it was on the cold side. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced park, but the saving grace was $1.00 per load for wash, $1.00 per load for drying and 1 dryer took 2 washer loads. So did all of our laundry! They do pizzas for pickup at the office - - nothing spectacular but not having to cook is nice. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hapgood RV Park, Henrietta, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Little city park. We had site with 50 amp (appears 3 50 sites, rest 30). Good overnight stop. They were out of pay envelopes so did our own. NO WATER at site, be sure you are ok with that. Just off of US 287, some traffic, railroad noise, but not bad. We camped at Hapgood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stinson RV Park, Campbell, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for an overnight stay at PPA price! The manager put us in an east-west pull through site as storms were rumbling through. Very stable when situated that way. Never park, mostly long term, but a few sites for those passing through. Definitely one we will use again when passing through the area! We camped at Stinson RV Park in a Motorhome.

River Cities RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great idea for an overnight stopping point. Make the reservation, pay be credit card, get the acknowledgment in email with gate code, come in and go to your spot. Except we never got the email. I called and got the gate code and everything worked as advertised. Parked on concrete pad, which was great. In the morning large jolt as we left because gravel is down below the pad. We camped at River Cities RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hat Creek Rv Park, Big Spring, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Fairly new park. Stopped for overnight. They have 5 pull throughs for overnights at the far back of the park. Biggest draw back is traffic bumps every 100 feet or less. It was a long slow travel in large motorhome with all of those bumps. Asphalt fairly new, in the heat it wafted up onto car. They do pizzas in the onsite store and deliver to rig. Nice touch when you've been battling high winds all day. If it wasn't for the speed bumps, we would use it again for travel through that area - but not with those speed bumps. We camped at Hat Creek Rv Park in a Motorhome.

The Vineyards, Grapevine, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Site #6 is not terribly level, luckily it was the front wheels on the motorhome that were slightly off the ground when level. For as much as they are charging the sites could at least be level. This is a nice campground, but as a public park, they act like they are a private 5 Star resort. Had to have campfire smoke wafting into our motorhome each weekend from weekenders. The pad asphalt was breaking down. Long stretch to utilities. Good thing was seeing the lake, but was the so-so cell phone service for both Verizon and AT&T. We were visiting relatives in Bedford, this was the closest park to them. Having a gate code made is easy for us to return late at night. During the week it is really enjoyable, but floods with weekenders on Friday. When arriving make sure you come off of 121 or 114 onto TEXAN TRAIL, up to Northwest, left turn onto Northwest, then right turn on Dooley to the park. We camped at The Vineyards in a Motorhome.

Benson I-10 RV Park, Benson, Arizona

Walked over to Denny's for a 10% discount with coupon from the park. Also used their shower facilities - very, very nice and clean.

Vines RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Even using the PPA discount the park is overpriced. Can't imagine paying full costs. Road noise is constant - but we've been fulltiming for 12 years so we can sleep through anything. Fairly easy to navigate - they could use a 'hook up' area. We camped at Vines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Saddle Mountain RV Park, Tonopah, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped overnight because of traffic shut down on I-10 into Phoenix. Park was essentially empty so we had our pick of sites. Overnight sites are pull throughs. Make sure you check the breakers before pulling in - our first pick the breakers wouldn't engage so we had to pull around and come into another site. They no longer take Passport America, but do give Escapees discount. This is an easy park for in and out for an overnight stay. Sites are fairly level and hard packed. We camped at Saddle Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We were put into what we guessed was a pull through site (that was the only way we could get in) which was totally unsuitable for a big diesel pusher. It was loose sand, couldn't really level, no information given on the site. While I realize this was a weekend, I told them we had a big diesel pusher (40 ft) and that doesn't seem to matter. Roads are extremely narrow - workmen around doing renovations with trucks/trailers parked in the middle of roads, etc. We will never, ever, stay at this place again. We camped at Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tall Chief RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Fall City, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Have been at this park several times over the years as we have family in the Seattle area. We were directed to a site that supposedly we could get satellite - finally didn't, but was very difficult. The water faucet was leaking and then the heat came and we noticed that the voltage was dropping too low for our air conditioner to work properly. Moved to site 101 and everything was fine. Bathrooms were undergoing some type of work, but since we were staying just a week I didn't worry about it. We can easily go more than a week without dumping. We camped at Tall Chief RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park), Central Point, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very nice, but for what is offered and the area, it is over priced. We have paid as much in California, but those parks had pools and sites were fairly level, not the case here. Also the road noise is quite noticeable. Had some problems checking in because people who were suppose to have moved, were at an event at the Expo Center and hadn't left the sites by 2:00 pm. Made for problems with others coming in. With a motorhome get sites in the D-H rows which are better because they slope towards the front. Our site sloped towards the rear and we don't like to have our tires off the ground. Just barely made it without having to put blocks under the tires. People at the desk don't understand the difference between trailer and motorhome in terms of front to back slopes. We camped at Southern Oregon RV Park (Jackson County Park) in a Motorhome.

Red Bluff RV Park, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park several times on our way north and south. They had a rally going on so no one in the office during the weekend. I'm not sure what the people below were complaining about - the park is easy to get into and out of, the sites are pretty level, and our only problem is making sure to get a site where we can get satellite reception. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Motorhome.
