Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park), Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived today to a sparkling RV park, knowing full-time residents were present. I was optimistic, but was greeted upon arrival well, after traveling 250 miles. I made our reservation far in advance, and received a follow-up call the day before. We arrived to beautiful trees, and a very nice park. We were ushered to a wonderful site, which backed up to a grass site. We immediately enjoyed our campsite, and after a walk around the park with our poodle, we found it to be a favorite amongst the campgrounds on the trip. Bathrooms are clean, sites are clean, and they would like you to pick up after yourself when you leave: a bonus, as one campground we left, I noticed upon leaving a floss container. I highly recommend the Santa Fe Rv Park Campground! We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Upon entering the campground, I could see how spacious the sites and how clean it was. The lobby is very nice, the clerks were most gracious, as they informed me about the campground. The showers are individual with a door to each one and includes a hair dryer and a full length mirror. Only a small whirlpool, but an exercise room is provided. Services are within walking distance, with the Mesilla close by. Little shade. Nice dog run area! I highly recommend Hacienda RV Park. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tombstone RV Park and Campground, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Tombstone RV Park and Campground is sufficient while visiting Southern Arizona. It is on the way to the Caverns, Bisbee, Sierra Vista and Tombstone. Pool is nice, showers had a bit of rust to them, and bathrooms were clean. The campground has small rock as their surface, and few trees, but there is few trees in Tombstone as well. Dog park is adequate. Good source of videos to borrow, as they do not have cable or arial service. Nice items to purchase in the store/office. They have drive thru sites which is important. I wish there was more shade, but it is a good place to spend two or three nights visiting Southern Arizona. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Betabel RV Park, San Juan Bautista, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice park, just off from Hwy 101, but you do not hear the traffic. A pool is offered, but we did not use it. People in the office were very nice, on the phone with reservations. Nice dog area. RVers were quiet, and kept to themselves. No partying was present. We camped at Betabel RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campland On The Bay, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

This is our fourth time at Christmas, visiting Campland. Loved it the other three years; this year, I had to give it a 5 out of 10. As I checked in, a flyer was posted on the registration door saying the fireworks were canceled, which is the least of my worries, but when you pay in advance of 100 per night, you would hope they would send an email. The registration clerk (female) has checked me in the last three out of four years, and needs work on her professionalism, politeness, and just being nice. Used the Jacuzzi that night, and the temperature needed to be elevated, in addition to the hot water in the locker room. Complained, but it was the same, and then reduced to 90F on the 1st and the 2nd. I guess they figured the high rollers left, but we were still paying 100 per night for our bay front site. No tent for New Year's Eve Party, no explanation. Something was mentioned about a city ordinance(?) Also, our neighbors in H18 were a bit loud with their wonderful speaker system of their toy hauler, and had a good time with games, laughter, and of course music until 11pm. I think the park should reevaluate their Quiet Time of 10pm. We camped at Campland On The Bay in a Fifth Wheel.

Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort, Plymouth, California

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Love this park! We just returned from the Memorial Day Weekend and yes it was full, but the clientele is very respectful of everyone, no "ya-hoos." We camped near one of the ponds, and even though it was pretty, the ducks did wake us up one morning. We brought our sound machine, and that was cured. We camped at Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rye Patch State Recreation Area, Lovelock, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We were pleasantly surprised to find the Rye Patch campground, while returning from Wyoming. It was in the AAA campground book, and we decided to give it a look. We stayed next to the river, and the campground was quiet, due to after July 4th weekend. I would definitely stay there again, en route to or from our journey. We camped at Rye Patch State Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

After living and camping in California, this campground is nothing as what I feared: it isn't that tight; yes we were able to pull our slide out and could have with the awning (but it rained early the next morning). I found the sites to be what it is: a large campground for 325 RVs. I would come back here again, especially in June, as one night the temperature was down to 33F! We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.
