Columbia Falls RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice park with flat sites and FHU 50 amp. The price was a little high, so we would not stay there again, as there were a lot of other parks in the area. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverfront RV Park, Garrison, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice overnight stop. We were greeted by the owner in a golf cart and he checked us in at the site. We had a nice long flat site with some shade. I asked the owner if there were any historical sites to visit and he directed me to Deer Lodge where we were able to visit some very interesting sites, 10 miles away. No services in Garrison. We would stay here again. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Henrys Lake State Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice state park with large sites. We had a beautiful lake view. Staff were nice and warned us about coyotes in the park at night. We had 50 amp. Our site was not supposed to have water, but it was close enough that if we needed it we could have connected. No sewers though, which was why I gave it a 9. It is an easy 15 mile drive at 65-70 mph to West Yellowstone. We would stay here again. We camped at Henrys Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) , Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice park and the only game in town. The price was high, but the park was full every night. Our site was fairly flat and we had to do some adjustments. We had FHU with 50 amp. We were able to get satellite through the trees which was a real surprise. No campfires allowed. I gave it an 8 due to the price. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Wind River RV Park, Riverton, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park is okay for an overnight stop. The sites were flat and long enough for us to leave our toad connected. We had FHU with 50 amp. We thought the price, with the Good Sam discount, was a little high. They do have back-in sites and 30 amp which were less expensive, but the temps was high 90's so we wanted to run the two air compressors for our air conditioner. We camped at Wind River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rainbows End RV Park, Sequim, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park. The staff are friendly and helpful, even escorting us to our site. Sites are close together. We had 50 amp., site was flat, we were able to get satellite, Verizon MiFi and cell phone service. Cable TV is included. There is a lot of highway noise, as the resort is right on the highway. We would stay here again. We camped at Rainbows End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails - Oceana RV & Camping Resort, Ocean City, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This park was just okay. The laundry room was in a trailer. The clubhouse was small and there were no activities while we were there. The sites are close together. We were able to get satellite, Verizon MiFi and cell phone service. The ranger was friendly and helpful. We had water and 30 amp electric. Don't think we will return to this park again. The site was level. About a 1/2 mile hike from the park to the beach, but that is the closest that you can get to the beach. We camped at Thousand Trails - Oceana RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Chehalis RV & Camping Resort, Thousand Trails , Chehalis, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This was the first park in the TT system. Sites are okay, but some are small. Had to look hard for a large enough site. Poor electric service. The place needs some maintenance. Too much tree coverage for satellite service. Dirt roads, lots of hills. Has a dog park. Good Verizon cell and air card service. Nice pool. Good book exchange. We would stay here again overnight, but not for a longer time. We camped at Chehalis RV & Camping Resort, Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights over 4th of July weekend. This is a very nice park. The sites were large, on a concrete slab, with a concrete parking space for the dingy. The sites were nice and flat. The laundry room was nice and clean. The price reflects a Good Sam discount. We had full hook-up, 50 amp and the voltage was good. The only reason we did not give it a 10 is that there were no activities and no pool. Although there is a county park directly across the street with river swimming. We were unable to get satellite in our site, but other sites could get it. Good Verizon for phone and air card. Great location for touring the area. We would stay here again. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

South Jetty RV & Camping Resort (Thousand Trails), Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is our first NACO park through our Thousand Trails membership. It is also the worst place that we have stayed. The only activity in our 5 days here is the Saturday membership recruitment by the staff. The place is run down, with a large portion of the sites closed off. The roads have lots of pot holes. They need to clean out some of the brush and trees, as the sites are downright dark due to the high trees. Our site was flat, but muddy, as due to the foliage, it is never able to dry out. We have a 30 amp, full hook-up. We were able to pick up satellite with our portable dish, after a lot of moving around. The majority of sites cannot get satellite. Our verizon MiFi worked well, but we had difficulty with obtaining cell phone coverage in the park. We have only seen the staff a few times while here. One staff member could not answer us about the activity schedule, he just plain did not know if there were activities or not. The staff member at check-in was able to tell us which sites we could use to find satellite reception. We will not stay here again. We camped at South Jetty RV & Camping Resort (Thousand Trails) in a Motorhome.

This was a beautiful state park with full hook-ups. The site was a nice size and flat. Had a nice picnic table and fire ring. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in B-48. We were able to pick up satellite with our portable dish. We did not make reservations, just drove up and were able to pick our site. We will stay here again. We camped at Bullards Beach State Park in a Motorhome.

Timber Valley SKP Park - Escapees Park (members only), Sutherlin, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This was a beautiful, well maintained park. Our site was huge and flat. I was a little disappointed that the only activity while we were here, was the bingo. Would have liked a happy hour to get to meet some of the other folks. Other than that, it was awesome. We will stay here again. We camped at Timber Valley SKP Park - Escapees Park (members only) in a Motorhome.

Bend-Sunriver RV Campground - Thousand Trails, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This was by far the nicest Thousand Trails that we have stayed in so far. The sites were large, and far apart. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are a lot of trees, but we were able to find a 50 amp site with a clear view for our satellite dish and we were able to get one local TV station on antenna. We only gave it an 8 due to there not being sewer. There is only water and electric, but they do have dump stations. The laundry was clean and not terribly expensive. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Bend-Sunriver RV Campground - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Western Hills Campground, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in and out off I-80. The sites are gravel and flat, no problem with leveling the rig. This is mid Wyoming, so there were no trees. The park was quiet, but it was only about 1/2 full. Good water and electric. We were in a pull through and did not have to disconnect the toad. Staff was nice. There was a laundry, which we did not use. Two small dog parks. Price was with Good Sam discount. Okay for an overnight stop. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.
