Horseshoe Casino RV Park, Council Bluffs, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Previous comments on this park are accurate. Asphalt parking lot with rv spaces on the outside edge backing up to the parking lot boundary. Grass behind the spots. Good 50 amp with water and dump at shower site. Asked about the 50.00 damage charge for each night and was told it was waived. However my charge card shows that I was assessed 200.00 damage deposit for 4 nights to be returned about a week later. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Holiday RV Park, North Platte, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight in 40 ft mh with slides. Decent spots with gravel roads and spots. Grass around level sites. Pool was open but we didnt use it. Water pressure good with stable electric and good cable but fuzzy picture. Close to freeway with some noise but tolerable. Good access to this park. Good for overnight stay, will return. Used good sam for 10% discount and 5 % for cash. Used 30 amp since did not need 50 amp service. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pikes Peak RV Park, Manitou Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Colorado Springs area in the spring and near a holiday equals hard to find RV park availability. This park is a smaller park but located along a creek with trees all around the park. It is also in a densely populated and traveled area. Forty ft MH with toad meant that it was TIGHT getting into our sport and out of it when we left. Our spot was perfect for us but neighbors were really jammed in and close to each other. Service people were great. Area is fun with a lot to do and see. Probably would return considering lack of good rv campgrounds in the area. For the area this is a good choice. We camped at Pikes Peak RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Trail RV Park, Springer, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a simple country rv park. It has basic Rv needs with electric water sewer. Small town but nice people. Lady who runs the park is helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Parked our 40 foot MH with a towed Jeep between the trees on our decent sized space. BUT access is dirt, and tight access between obstacles. Best to take the toad off when come into this value park. We camped at Santa Fe Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This park is older with mature trees, dirt streets and dirt sites. Our site was a 50 amp with water and sewer. FIt our needs perfectly. Hosts were friendly and employees helpful. Stayed two nights and went into Albuquerque for the sites. Also went to the casino west of the camp ground. I would definately stay here again. It is convenient to I40 west or east. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Motorhome.

Fairgrounds RV Park, Prescott, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 days with a passport america discount. Without the discount it is a little spendy. The 50 amp site was VERY spacious and great for our motorhome. Gravel surface but bricked tile for patio with fencing but didnt take advantage of this outdoor area. Has propane, library, laundry and good folks to manage. Many long term rv ers, but horse race track is a plus. Enjoyed our stay. We camped at Fairgrounds RV Park in a Motorhome.

Isleta Lakes & RV Park, Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is part of the casino, golf course, and lake facility of this Indian reservation. The RV park seems run down and very low on priority for the tribe. Near by are several small lakes that allow fishing and have a number of people fishing there. The area in general seemed dirty and trashy although there were employees cleaning up the area. Power was good and water OK. Sewer connection WAY back to the rear on the sites, so extra length hoses are needed. Shuttle to the casino with phone call. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

81 Palms Senior RV Resort (55+ Park), Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very good stop for us. Large park with gravel surface throughout. Sites are spacious, utilities spaced nicely, 50 amp power had good voltage. The club house, laundry, restrooms are very clean and orderly. The indoor swimming pool is a real gem. Decorating the park are unusual pieces of "art" made from salvaged material. We will be back. We camped at 81 Palms Senior RV Resort (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Willamette Wine Country RV Park (monthly only), Dayton, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

On one phone call to the park made reservations for two big rigs. Later noticed $4.00 charged for each site as a reservation charge. I have never had to pay a reservation fee unless there was a 3rd party doing the reservation service---I was not informed of this fee when I called. At the parking site cable TV was very snowy and hard to watch. My 50 amp electrical system would shut down due to low voltage problems in the afternoon hours because of many folks using air conditioning. Not a bad park except for overcharging, poor electrical, poor TV. We camped at Willamette Wine Country RV Park (monthly only) in a Motorhome.

Sierra Trails RV Park, Mojave, California

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

All previous review comments are accurate. Staff friendly and took Good Sam discount. Pull through sites are at the rear of this older park that has mostly permanent RVs in place. Back in sites inside the park proper have full hookups with 30 amp. Pull throughs out back have 30 amp, water, no sewer hookup, but a dump is available. Overnighted due to weather at top of Tahachapi pass. Fine for just a brief stay. We camped at Sierra Trails RV Park in a Motorhome.

Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park), Beatty, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Firstly, this park is just too expensive at $38.50. It is an old rv park with a large dirt/sandy lot with a new electrical system. There are new laundry and shower buildings which are also nice. The motel next door offers a pool and hot tub for rv guests of the park. The price of this parks puts it up with parks that have nicely developed spaces. This one does not do that. I suspect that the price reflects the notion that take it or leave it. We camped at Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Bordertown Casino RV Resort, Reno, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very friend and helpful staff. Great sites with concrete pad, grass, and trees. Utilities are well situated for the site. Large rigs have to maneuver carefully but don't they always. This is a great little park and we stop here often. Highly recommend it. We camped at Bordertown Casino RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yosemite Lakes RV Resort - Thousand Trails, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed using a: Ready Camp Go card. Late in season, very few campers here. In a valley so no TV or Cell coverage via antenna. Did use Wi-Fi with antenna from my camp site. Good for limited data: ie email, weather report, etc. Staff friendly and reasonable. Lodge has large screen TV, games, and a fire place. Older but okay. Would stay here again since it is only six miles from Yosemite boundary. Getting here, there is quite an elevation rise from west of Groveland, but certainly do able for most. We camped at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is full of pipeline workers but space is available for drive ups. Friendly staff. Spaces are all on gravel, not pretty or attractive, but a place to park your rig. Expensive for what you get, but hey, its a KOA. Would stay here again since there are no other RV parks in the area. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Motorhome.

Colt RV Park , Battle Mountain, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Park is old, run down, many electrical stanchions do not work. Many semi permanent residents with items piled around their RV. Large dogs chained up near my neighbor. This place is a dump and Flying J truck stop should be ashamed to have it as part of their property. Employees at the fuel desk at the truck stop take your money and registration. They could care less about your satisfaction or dissatisfaction. NOT worth the money, but all across Nevada RV parks are full of pipeline workers so space availability is not good. We camped at Colt RV Park in a Motorhome.
