Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA, Streetsboro, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was formerly Mar-Lynn Campground. The staff was absolutely the best. This is a very clean campground. Our site was fairly level and it did not look like anyone else had to use boards to level there rig. Very quiet campground, not too far from restaurants. There is an abundance of them along with gas stations close by. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was real nice. The sites are very close together and there is no privacy. The back half of this campground is old and the sites are real close together. We camped in the front half which is newer but unless you want to want to the premium price for the deluxe sites, you have to share the pull throughs with another RV. There is absolutely no privacy even in the newer area. When we camped here, the train station to the park was closed the entire 4 days. There are better places closer to Niagara Falls that are cheaper. There is absolutely no restaurants even close to this campground. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging, Niagara Falls, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

I question the user's review of June 08 for $66. They arrived at the park at 10:30 am, and were told that check-in is 1:00 pm, They could check in early (park only half full) but there would be a $20 charge. The other discovery he made was that his one-day reservation had been changed by them to two days. Total cost for his one night stay was going to cost them $132.00. They had a discussion with the owner. They had made their reservation three months ahead; they do did send confirmation information. Mr Chong pointed to the sign on the wall and stated, "This is my park and these are my rules." In 7 years of full time travel (4 times around the USA and hundreds of RV parks. Anyone who has traveled for that many years knows that if they check in that early they will be charged, period. I cannot fathom any park charging a 2 day visit on the weekdays without informing someone of that. We camped at Niagara Falls Campground & Lodging in a Motorhome.
