Eagle Lake RV Park, Susanville, California

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This place is awesome. The campground/park is actually located about 25 miles north of Susanville in the Spaulding area on the west side of the lake. It is separated from the lake by an airstrip and bird habitat but has great views of the lake, bald eagles and osprey nests nearby. We stayed the week of the trout opener over Memorial Day. Fishing was excellent. There is a large area for storing your boat trailer on the property and the marina is about a quarter mile away. There is a general store with the typical stuff you might need as well as LPG, gas and diesel fuel. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is family oriented and pet friendly. We camped at Eagle Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
