Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, clean, well-kept campground. They have 24/7 security at the gate which is nice but you are paying for it. Kind of pricey here, and some sites are merely parking lot type sites. We had a site with gravel which was better. It is close to Sam's Town and Boulder Station casinos and not far to drive to the strip or downtown. However, if you have a dog, you might consider staying elsewhere. The park is not pet-friendly. You have to get your dog to the pet run area. Your dog is not allowed to potty on your site. Well, dogs have their own ideas about that! There are only 2 "Pet Runs", one is fenced and one is not. They stink really bad. The park does their best to clean them but there are so many dogs in the park, that very little helps the smell. Also, as others have mentioned, it is getting too expensive to stay in Vegas for a month and so if we come to Vegas again, we will probably just spend a few nights at Sam's Town. We paid $636.75 for the month plus we have to pay electric on top of that. We would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't for the pet situation. Too pricey, but a nice park. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
