Valley Of The Sun RV Resort, Marana, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is an adequate place for an overnight stay. There are RV spaces in a mobilehome park. It is quiet and nicely maintained. We could not make the cable work, but the Wi-Fi was excellent. We would stop here again. It is nice to be on the west side of Tucson to avoid traffic in the morning. We camped at Valley Of The Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

River Shade RV Park, Seguin, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park mostly inhabited by permanents, but it is nicely maintained. We love the ambiance with the Guadalupe River, trees, grass, ducks and squirrels. The laundry and bathrooms are older but are clean. Roads need some work. Staff is excellent. This is our favorite park in the New Braunfels area. We camped at River Shade RV Park in a Motorhome.

Abilene KOA, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The owner of this park is working to improve it, he says. It could be really pretty. There is excellent cable and Wi-Fi. There are lots of pretty trees. The bathrooms are clean but dated. The roads and sites are in need of repair. It was good for an overnight stay. Not a destination park. We camped at Abilene KOA in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We chose to stay at this park based on a recommendation from a fellow RVer, and it proved to be the nicest park in the area. It is about 10 miles out of town, but that means it is quiet. The park is fairly new with paved roads and sites which are very spacious. The bathrooms are all individual and the whole park is very nice. The staff was exceptional. We had great pizza right on site. Cheap gas is just down the street. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Just an OK park for an overnight stay. Not a destination park, but we did have good cable and Wi-Fi. Showers are nice and clean. Staff was friendly. We would stay again when passing through. Not much else for miles so park does fill up at night. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped overnight. This is basically a large parking lot, but it is more than adequate for a stop over. Not especially a destination park. The owner was very nice and helpful and says he is trying to improve the park even more. The cable and Wi-Fi were both excellent. We would stop here again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

J & H RV Park (55 + Park), Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this pretty park with lots of trees. The owners show pride of ownership in that they keep the park spotlessly clean and maintained. The roads are gravel and the sites have small red rock. The sites are spacious, have nice picnic tables and lots of room for extra tow car. All of the amenities are very nice. The cable was weird and we have a new HD TV set but it was doable. Wi-Fi was excellent. We would stay again if in the area and prefer this park over others nearby. We camped at J & H RV Park (55 + Park) in a Motorhome.

Page Lake Powell Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were very comfortable here. The roads and sites are dirt but they are nicely spaced. We did have a small tree but there is not much else in the way of landscaping but this is desert. Excellent cable and WiFi (I dont know why previous posts said no WiFi-there were several channels available). The bathrooms are dated but very clean. Did not use laundry. We would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed things to do very much: Antelope Valley, Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe Bend. When we had a problem with the cable connection, maintenance were out and fixed it in just a matter of minutes. We camped at Page Lake Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

The new owners are super nice and are working hard to make changes to this park. The bathrooms and laundry are older but very clean and efficient. WiFi is good; no cable but able to get a few stations with antenna. Park is convenient to other Utah attractions. We would stay again if in the area. We camped at Panguitch KOA in a Motorhome.

Richfield KOA, Richfield, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a pretty park with lots of mature trees and nice landscaping. The sites and streets are gravel and some are close together. There are a lot of ATV's but they were not a problem during our stay. The bathrooms, showers and laundry are all excellent and spotlessly clean. The owners are super nice and go out of their way to make your stay a good one. We happened to be at the park during an ATV rally so the park was full, but we enjoyed our stay and would return. This park is in a nice location mid-way between Cedar City and Salt Lake. Don't miss a side trip to Fish Lake which is awesome. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV and Campground, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I love the feel of this park with nice mature trees and grass. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are all nice. The staff is friendly. Cable is OK; Wi-Fi had some problems for a few days, but it seems OK now. BUT the way the hookups are set up, two rigs must share the same utility posts and thus, are only a few feet from each other. I HATE having to keep my windows and shades closed because our neighbors are three feet away from us on that side. It is just awful. It ruins our stay. We camped at Lakeside RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We like a park with trees since we don't have satellite. This park has lots of beautiful, lush mature trees although they do offer you a site without trees if you wish. We chose to stop here overnight just because of the name of the park. It is located on the banks of the Snake River, which is a close walk nearby. The showers and bathrooms were older but clean. We would definitely return and would like to stay longer. It is a pretty little park. Owner is very nice and works hard to make your stay a good one. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Century Mobile Home and RV Park, West Haven, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We came in early in the day and were just about convinced this was not a bad park. It is right off of the freeway, but there is a sound barrier, so the traffic noise isn't bad. The showers are tiled and private and nice, as is the laundry with nice new machines. The park is nothing special. I was going to rate it a 7 or 8, but then we got neighbors. The rig next to us is literally so close I can reach out of our window and touch their rig. I mean, this is ridiculous. And the park is not full, so they could space people apart better. We have never had a rig so close next to us before. Awful. The only reason I gave it a 5 is because the amenities and staff are nice. We camped at Century Mobile Home and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ambassador RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV resort. It is new so the bathrooms, which are all private with showers, and laundry are new and spotlessly clean. The sites are large stones with large cement patio and a patio set (not a picnic table). The sites are nicely spaced and there are trees in the process of growing. There is a sparkling pool, library, and large rec room. WiFi and cable are excellent. Staff is very nice and helpful. I have nothing negative to say. We really liked this park and just wish it was on the coast of Oregon instead of the middle of nowhere Idaho. They have done a nice job though and we would definitely return. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.
