Bay Bayou RV Resort, Tampa, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is our first stay here, and there is a lot to like. The sites are large, lots of shade, nice pool and clubhouse area, and the campground's location. That said, those trees providing shade also make backing in to sites a challenge, and they are messy. The grounds crew does a lot of raking. They spray/fog every other night, but the noseeums are still present and biting. The free secure Wi-Fi is not the fastest, but adequate for email and general surfing. There are several laundry locations, machines in good working order and for $2.25 your laundry is washed and dried. They have a designated pet bedding washer. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are lots of snowbirds here. There are only a few permanent type trailers, and most sites are nicely maintained. We will return next year. We camped at Bay Bayou RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground, Fort Pierce, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second stay here, great park. The staff is friendly and helpful, excellent service. The amenities are in good working order and well placed for ease of hooking up. Cable TV w/72 channels, and strong free wi-fi. The concrete pads are level, good space between sites. Convenient location between I95 and the turnpike, but no substantial road noise. There are no park models, no tents, but everything from mh to pop ups are welcome. We camped at Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

McIntosh Lake RV Park, Townsend, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient to I 95. Good for our overnight stop. Nice setting with lake. We had a pull thru and did not have to disconnect the toad. Sites are dirt/grass, fairly level. Staff was friendly and welcoming, offered local tip to avoid I95 construction backups. Showers/rest rooms are private, accessed with provided security code. Rate reflects SKP discount. We camped at McIntosh Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA, Clarksboro, New Jersey

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the few year around campgrounds in the area. We stay here to be near family for the winter holidays, the rate posted is based on the winter monthly rate. The sites are level gravel, some with concrete slab for table/chairs, etc. There are lots of trees, but room for large rigs and slides. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small pond for fishing and home to some ducks. Wild turkeys wander through almost every day. Close to I 295, easy on/off. We camped at Philadelphia South / Clarksboro KOA in a Motorhome.
