Tips for other Campers:

The best views for Mt Helens are thru Gifford National Forrest on NF-25 from Rt. 12 in Randle . Its the only place to see Spirit lake. The federal road side of Helens is not as good.

Mundo Idaho RV Park, Cambridge, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Don't waste your time or fuel. The CG is just a run down trailer park with a few spaces for RVs. This is probably the lowest rating I ever gave a CG. We booked 3 nights after looking at other reviews. When we arrived we almost turned around after driving 300+ miles. The hot springs pool is closed on Mon & Tues. (never mentioned this at time of booking) Only stayed overnight. Would NOT come back. We camped at Mundo Idaho RV Park in a Motorhome.

Deer Run RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are OK, the issue is that there is a big slope up to the pad and down off it. Utilities were good. Easy check-in, free daily paper. Most are pull-throughs. It's about 8 miles to shopping. We would use this campground again. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Motorhome.
