Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, Boerne, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

A December comment said wireless and cable were terrible. They overrated it. It is worse than terrible. The office looks at their equipment in the office and it says it is OK, but obviously they have NEVER actually tried it. They tried to tell me this is a new system and should work really well. HA - what a joke. Their TV handout says they have about 24 cable channels, but when I scan for channels, I come up with 12, most of which are terrible quality and none good. But if you don't need wireless or cable (there are 11 OTA channels available), it is a nice place. Not spacious, but OK. Maybe overpriced. Their website quotes one price, but it was a little lower at the front desk. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sandev Mobile Park, San Leandro, California

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Sandev Mobile Park in San Leandro on the east side of the San Francisco bay is quite nice. It is mostly mobile homes but has some RV spots. All spots are clean, wide and well maintained. All sites are back in. They have wireless in the office area, and some sites can pick it up inside the RV. The place is remarkably quiet except for the occasional train, which run mostly in the daytime. IMO, it is much better than constant freeway noise. The place is cash only, $40 a night or $220 a week. I think it is a good deal if you want to go to places on the east side of the bay. The BART station is a couple miles away, and the Ferry from Alameda to SF is a nice ride. We camped at Sandev Mobile Park in a Motorhome.
