Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

What a difference! The new owners did a make over the last three years. For an older park, the condition is very good. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. The roads and pads are gravel. Site are water and electric, no sewer. The mature trees and grass strips lend a park like feel to the place. The park sits between I90 and the Yakima River. There is some highway noise. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great well maintained park. Convenient off the highway, but back far enough to be quiet. Spotless bathrooms and showers. Easy to navigate, gravel roads and pads. A park like feel and beautiful view of the mountains. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Hyde RV Park, Divide, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stumbled across this little gem after a day of fishing. The park consists of about 11 new, full size, water and electric pull thrus. The park appears to be brand new, excellent condition. There is not much to it, gravel pads and roads, grassy sites, an open dog run, and a construction style porta potti. The grass lends it a park like ambiance. Our low review is due to the lack of amenities, no bathrooms or showers, etc. It's basically an upscale parking lot. We camped at Hyde RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ruby Valley Campground and RV Park (formerly Virginia City KOA), Alder, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a tired old KOA a little down on it's heels. However, the new owner is fixing it up. The new "big rig" section is awesome --- level grassy sites with picinc tables, gravel pads, solid 50 amp FHU's and reasonably fast wifi. The campground is fairly close to the main hwy, but we didn't hear a single vehicle all night. I am a licensed contractor and repair shower control valves all the time. It took me forever to figure out how to get hot water in the shower (crank the knob four full turns counter clockwise until it stops, then dial it back about 1/8 a turn). Plenty of hot water after that. We camped at Ruby Valley Campground and RV Park (formerly Virginia City KOA) in a Motorhome.

Osens RV Park & Campground, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent, close to town yet far enough from the road and hwy to have minimal noise. Of course, the trains pass thru Livingston and occasional horns are unavoidable. Well maintained park, level gravel pads and grassy sites. FHU's worked. Wifi was fast enough. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry were spotless. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced grassy dog run. We camped at Osens RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Olde Stone Village RV Park, McMinnville, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean, quiet, and convenient. Adequate sizes spaces with asphalt streets and concrete pads. Our pad was dead level. Hookups worked. Bath and showers clean and well maintained. Plenty of hot water. It is far enough off the road that highway noise is barely noticeable. This is our second visit. We loved it both times. Fires are not allowed. There is a large grassy dog field near the entrance. We camped at Olde Stone Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

North Spokane RV Campground, Spokane, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Yes, it's new, paved, and spotless, just like a Walmart parking lot. The token patches of grass do nothing to soften the effect. The sites are close together. The opposing pull-thrus that share middle utilities are especially close. The back-ins are a joke. Unless you have a truck camper or short motor home or van, you won't fit. There is no accommodation for late check-ins. If you come after hours your water is locked off and the baths and showers are locked and you have no WiFi. Also, this park is on a noisy, busy highway. My wife found the traffic deafening. We camped at North Spokane RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Helena North KOA (formerly Lincoln Road RV Park), Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Good park. Dead quiet. And, if you like astronomy, darn dark. Roads and pads are gravel. Each site has a grass divider with a concrete pad for a picnic table. Easy pull thrus with solid hookups. WiFi was so so but T Mobile was full bars. We stayed several nights to explore Helena and local fishing. Awesome downtown area. Plenty of lake and river fishing options. We will be back. We camped at Helena North KOA (formerly Lincoln Road RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Riverfront RV Park, Garrison, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park. The interstate highway and train tracks were nearby, but the noise was negligible. Roads and sites were gravel. Most sites were partially shaded. The park had a relaxed park Iike feel. Hookups were solid. T mobile was full bars so we didn't use the WiFi. We will stay here again. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Missoula KOA, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Paved roads with gravel pads. You have your choice of open, shaded, or partially shaded spots. They are 3 fenced dog areas, a pool, adults only hot tub, solid full hookups, okay wifi, an onsite retail store, and clean bathrooms and showers. Every big box national chain has a store on Reserve street walking distance away. This is our third time here since 2010. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

Grande Hot Springs Resort, La Grande, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a pretty little park nestled between a grassy hill and a wildlife refuge. The park is mostly open grass with dirt and gravel roads and sites. There is adequate room between sites and the full hookups were flawless. The bathroom and showers were brand new. We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at Grande Hot Springs Resort in a Motorhome.

Blue Cut RV Park, Helper, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Location is convenient off the highway. There is traffic on one side and train tracks on the other. It had dirt roads with gravel pads and full hookups. No Wi-Fi, showers, or bathrooms. Its a place to stop and sleep and dump tanks. The price is high for what you get. We camped at Blue Cut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gunnison KOA, Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The sites here are grass, at least early in the season. The roads are gravel mixed with dirt. The park is surrounded by farms, a mile and a half from downtown Gunnison, and in the flight path of the airport. In mid May, we never heard a plane. The showers and bathrooms had a recent remodel and where clean and in excellent condition. The Wifi worked intermittently. T-Mobile worked great. We stayed one night at another park nearby and my wife liked the KOA more. We camped at Gunnison KOA in a Motorhome.

Palisades Senior RV Park (55+ park), Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Most of the park is pinkish crushed pea gravel. Basically, its a big parking lot surrounded by grassy field and trees. I liked it. My wife hated it. We moved the next day. Our back-in site was dead level. The full hookups were flawless. The Wifi was fast. Most of the pull thru side are offset and share center hookups. Some rigs in pull throughs are close to each other. The back in sites are more spacious. The only bathrooms and showers are next to the office. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, well maintained, and had plenty of hot water. The laundry was clean and up to date. They had an extensive book and dvd swap library. The park is behind a residential neighborhood and next to a farm and very quiet. Downtown Gunnison is about a mile and a half away. We camped at Palisades Senior RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
