The Boardwalk RV Resort, Homestead, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Gate at the entrance is a problem. One car ahead of us and we ended up blocking traffic with our toad. Nice folks at check in, even offered to help us back in. Wound our way around the campground to our spot only to find it very occupied. Had to go back to the office to get another, way in the back by a busy road. It looks to be an old mobile home site. It was pretty level in the grass. Good power and water. Very high dump. Park is loaded with Canadian snow birds. It is close to everything. We are only here 2 nights, it worked for us. We camped at The Boardwalk RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We did 2 nights here to rest & do laundry. Easy pull off the 10, big grave sites. Power & water was fine, WiFi was slow till everyone left in the morning, then fine till it filled up again at night. The cafe is great! We would stay here again. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

San Antonio / Alamo KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Big park about a $8.00 Lyft ride away from downtown, the city bus also picks up right across the street from the park. Escorted us to our large graveled pull through site. Good strong power & way fast WiFi! The newer restroom/showers are very nice. We would stay here again. We camped at San Antonio / Alamo KOA in a Motorhome.

Coachland RV Park, Truckee, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 5 years ago- and it's even better. Very clean well run park. Huge dog parks. Tall trees all around. Smells great! They lost a star because the sites are so close. I could pass a cup of coffee threw my window to the rig next to us. Less then 1/2 the sites have 50 amps. We camped at Coachland RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pirate Cove RV Resort & Marina, Needles, California

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

I should say, we stayed here in the "off" season, Mid week and the park was pretty empty. We stayed in a river ft site, Plenty of room great full hookups out in the middle of nowhere! Very quite stay for us, you can hear the trains off in the distance but not a problem. They offer a shuttle service to get you from your site to the store or bar/restaurant. We would stay here again- but not on a weekend or busy season- Looks like it would be crazy!!! We camped at Pirate Cove RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Good place for a overnighter on the 5. Lot's of fuel and food close by. Level pull thru. Plenty of power & cable. Sites are close together, couldn't open the awning... But when you need to rest, this a great value. Fair amount of liveaboards but the sites were kept clean, We would stay again. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.
