Wildwood State Park, Wading River, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is the only NYS Full hook-up park on Long Island. It has a beautiful hiking trail and biking lane outside of the park. It is well maintained and near shopping and restaurants. However, the Park Police needs to patrol at 10 PM to remind people that voices travel and to go inside of their RVs. Having people confront each other or calling the police on them is sure to cause problems. Having the RV campgrounds open all year, with electric only, would be great. We camped at Wildwood State Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River, Gardiner, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

A wonderful place for children! Not only did they have a mini water park, but a heated pool as well, jumping pillow, many other fun things for kids and activities including arts and crafts, candy bingo, etc. The cabins were small, we had a problem with our RV sewer being too high but this was a great place and we will return. A golf cart is a must. Rent one when you make your reservation. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

Camp Taylor Campground, Columbia, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I are in our 50's and camped in our 27' motorhome. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the campground was well managed and taken care of. If you like hiking and biking, this is the place to be; if you like rules enforced, recycling and a safe place, this is the place to be. We will definitely go back. Our friends stayed in rented RVs on the premises and were also very happy. We camped at Camp Taylor Campground in a Motorhome.
