Long Ridge Campground, Hiawassee, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

(* We paid for 12 months as we are now permanently living here in our fifth-wheel). Long Ridge Campground is relatively small when compared to several other campgrounds nearby, but no one can beat the exceptional customer service the owners provide! The sites are covered with gravel, & clean. There are a dozen or so tent sites, 30 amp sites for smaller RVs & sites large enough to handle any big rig easily. These latter sites are full-service: WiFi, 50 amp, water & sewer included. The campground is secluded with a small catch & release pond & a stream that provides a soothing sound throughout the day & night. The office sells ice & a small amount of other "must have" RV items. There is a seasonal (closed Nov-Mar) RV service & parts store a few miles away. They do on-site service as well. I strongly recommend you call ahead for a reservation as the campground fills up very quickly, especially during the spring, summer & early fall when there are numerous festivals in the area. Come one, come all to Long Ridge Campground! We camped at Long Ridge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean park. BUT, the biggest plus are the management and staff. They are professional, friendly and flat out fun!! They make the campground worth the visit by themselves. Very convenient to town and the caverns. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
