Ben Franklin RV Park, York, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a great place to use to see all the local attraction and even Baltimore. However they DO NOT HAVE BATHROOMS. There is also no play ground if you need a place for the kids. If you need a activity planner this is not your place. This is a great place to park as a home base to explore the local area. The price is right, nothing fancy: just good water, electricity, sewer and real large shade trees. We will come back. We camped at Ben Franklin RV Park in a Motorhome.

Niantic / I-95 Exit 72 KOA, Niantic, Connecticut

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The road is full of pot holes and real rough. Sites are tight and slide outs close to fire pits, some campers are running gray water out on the main road coming into the park. They accept only cash. Check if you live nearby. This park caters mostly to seasonals or maybe even people that live here all of the time. Lots of older, junky looking RVs. Will not come back !!! As a full timer it will be best to stay on the side of road or Casino parking lot. We camped at Niantic / I-95 Exit 72 KOA in a Motorhome.

Field and Stream RV Park, Brookline, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Have never rated a CG a 10 but this gets close,, has the best wi-fi free of any place we have been and as a full timer have seen a few. A lot of CG need to take notes on this one for local info. the owner goes way out of way to make you feel like this is the place to be,, is small and some spots are tight to get in -- but has LOTS of shade and grass. Complete quit at night. The restrooms are spotless. This place is for the people that do not need anything but a great book to read and total relaxation. We use this CG for Boston, Salem , Mass and South N.Hamp. area. We camped at Field and Stream RV Park in a Motorhome.

Moose River Campground, St Johnsbury, Vermont

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

What a Great Place ! This park has lived up to every thing that we have been told by all our friends that have been here before. We are going to mark this in our travel book as the place to come back to in this area. We love that they have park rules and everyone knows the rules, no ? ask. This park has a great friendly , home , type feeling and a stranger is not a stranger very long here. Too bad we have to travel over 3000 miles to get here. We camped at Moose River Campground in a Motorhome.
