Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice site with room to sit out and enjoy the camp out. Very green sites. Pool was nice, store a little small and stocked okay, but could be better. The wireless internet did not work from our site and I could only get it to work in the game room next to the microwave oven. But then, most KOA WiFi does not work at all, so I guess I it was okay for a KOA. We camped at Olympic Peninsula / Port Angeles KOA in a Motorhome.

Rest-a-While RV Park, Hoodsport, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

What a surprise. This was a real nice and restful camp ground. We had a ocean site and it was just wonderful. Room to setup our stuff and enjoy the sites of Hood Canal. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again anytime I'm headed this way. We camped at Rest-a-While RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cascade Locks / Portland East KOA, Cascade Locks, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice looking campground and its close to many of the sites in the gorge area. The only complaint I have is: it's right next to the train tracks. The train likes to come through at least twice a night and blow its horn. So its not easy to sleep there. We camped at Cascade Locks / Portland East KOA in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

A nice campground for a major city. Sites are not too narrow, some have grass for your chairs. Pool was large, store was well stocked. Close to the city to go site seeing. Everything you need for the city. The wireless internet does not work from my camp site and I had to take the laptop up to the pool area to use it. But once there it did work fine. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Cedar City KOA, Cedar City, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground, grass at site, nice store and pool. Site is wide enough to have room to setup chairs and enjoy the outside. My only problem was the wireless internet. Like most KOA's it did not work. I have yet to stay in a KOA where it works as it should. I'd stay here again even without out WiFi access. It's a nice camp ground. We camped at Cedar City KOA in a Motorhome.

Eagle View RV Resort, Fort Mcdowell, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground, no pull-through sites, but the Wi-Fi does work from most all sites. The shower does not have a mirror in it, so you have to walk around to the bathroom on the other side of the building to do your hair. But the staff was polite, the camp ground clean, and security was great. I'd stay here again if I was headed that way. It would be nice if they had a store on the campground. But there is a convenience store just down the road. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
