Sherling Lake Park, Greenville, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time camping here. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay, this is the place. Not much to do except for the walking trail and a golf course near by, but, over all, a wonderful relaxing campground. We would go back. We camped at Sherling Lake Park in a Motorhome.

Our first time at this state park. It was very nice, good site with lots of space. As others have noted, make sure you're RV is in good running condition because the hills getting there are a real eye opener. We camped at Cheaha State Park in a Motorhome.

Harvest Moon RV Park, Adairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice campground. Staff was very nice. A very clean and up kept campground. Sites are a little close, but not so close you are on top of each other. There are actually two sides to the campground. The "hill" side seemed to have full time living, but was kept clean. We were on the "flat" side and all are pull-thru. All and all, a nice, quiet, friendly campground. We camped at Harvest Moon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oak Mountain State Park, Pelham, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We love our Alabama State Parks and so this one was on our list to visit. We loved it. Very quiet, lots of woods and hiking trails. We geocached and all around a very relaxing campground. Only complaint was the trash dumpsters were almost a mile away from the campground which meant for a long walk, but we understand the idea behind it..no loud trash trucks at 5am to hear. We would come back. We camped at Oak Mountain State Park in a Motorhome.

U.S. Space & Rocket Center RV Park, Huntsville, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here while on a business trip. Very nice campground right close to the space center. Very convenient to everywhere. The sites are spaced out so you're not on top of each other and there is a field where the space camp kids shoot off their model rockets. Lots of rocket eating trees too! We camped at U.S. Space & Rocket Center RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was our first time here to this state park and it was wonderful. The park was clean and our site only required minor leveling. This is a big park so be ready to explore, and the lake views were awesome. Will come back again. We camped at Wind Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Mill Creek Park, Elkmont, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very quiet and off the beaten path campground. If you are looking for a good, quiet get-away for a few days, this is the perfect place. The owners were really nice and friendly. No, there isn't much to do but relax and enjoy camping. There is a very good hiking trail that was once railroad tracks. We would come back again. We camped at Mill Creek Park in a Motorhome.

Ozark Country Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time to stay at this campground. And as with the first time, very friendly staff, easy access to site. A very nice campground which they are now in the process of a total remodel. The site was very nice, but I had to use my orange waffers along with my landing gear to get level in the front, this, by the way is one of the reasons they gave me for the remodeling, to make the sites more level. Would stay here again. We camped at Ozark Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Rocky Top Campground, Blountville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We were on our way to Pennsylvania and stopped here overnight. A very nice, clean campground. The owners/staff were very nice and helpful. A little noise from the road behind the CG, but not enough to keep you up all night. Take note for those of you with big rigs, from the check-in office, you do need a good running start to make it up the hill that's in front of you to make it to your site, it was interesting to say the least! Otherwise, the site was level. Would stay here again. We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Motorhome.
