Hinton RV Park, Sikeston, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills park but served our purpose. The pull through was long enough for our 45 ft motorhome and tow car. The office was very friendly. They had beautiful flowers up at the office area. They even had a van that will pick you up and take you to the Lambert's Cafe. That was such a fun experience. From there we went on to Branson MO and the road was not the best. There is a very long bridge that we had to cross and that was so narrow and we had a truck coming from the other direction and it was so close, I can't believe we didn't either hit the truck or hit the side of the bridge. We swore we would never go on that road again. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grand Ole RV Resort, Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills RV Park but we had a lot of fun while there. The staff was wonderful and so friendly. They have a live band that plays there most nights. They also serve dinner there every night. It is only about 15 minutes from Nashville which is great. It like being in the country. We had a pull through which was easy to hook up our car from our site. Some of the sites looked to be crowded but others were a little larger. The rates are so much better than if we had stayed right in Nashville. We definitely would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Grand Ole RV Resort in a Motorhome.

EZ Daze RV Park, Southaven, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV Park. The sites are concrete pads with grass. Long enough for our 40 ft and toad. There was a lot of rain when we were there but it wasn't a problem as they had such good drainage. Close to all the stores. They also have a huge fenced dog park that is all grass. The dogs just loved it. We would definitely stay again if we come back to this area. We camped at EZ Daze RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ivy's Cove RV Retreat, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

During our stay it was raining and there was a lot of water all over. It made it hard to walk without getting our shoes all wet. We had a mud puddle right outside our motorhome stairs. It is a no frills RV Park which is fine for us, but with all the puddles everywhere it wasn't so good. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Roadrunner RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park with long pull thrus and grass. We had plenty of room for our 40 ft and tow. When we stayed there they had a huge thunderstorm and lightning with a downpour that evening. There was even flooding alerts and I'm sure there were places around there that had flooding. Thank Goodness this park had all concrete and excellent drainage. We were very thankful for this. We will be staying there again for sure. The only thing I would say is be sure to call to get directions. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at the Oasis whenever we travel to the east coast. It is a very nice park. Long pull thrus with concrete pads. Very easy to get to from I-40. They also have a fenced dog park which is grass. They have pizza plus hamburgers you can order at the front desk area. We got the pizza and it was delicious. We definitely will stay again if in the area. I can't think of anything negative about this RV park. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Carefree Village Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly new park, only a couple of years old. The sites are very spacious so you will have plenty of room for all your chairs, tables, etc. and your vehicle. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The only reason I did not rate a 10 is because there is not WiFi throughout the park. If you have a spot near the office, then you will be able to get it. We were in a pull thru near the office and these do not have concrete pads but the back in sites do have the pads. There are no picnic table at any of the sites, and there are no trees/shrubs except by the buildings. The park offers a whole lot of amenities though. They have three fenced in dog areas and they were always clean. There is a Walmart right up the street and the freeway access is right by the RV park. Roads in the park are all paved. While we were here one of our AC's quit working. We called Vic's RV Repair. Vic came out and fixed this and was very reasonable. If you ever need any repairs, call him at 928-580-8774 and you will get someone who is honest and fair, unlike some. We have already made reservations to come back next year. We camped at Carefree Village Resort in a Motorhome.

Eagle Nest RV Resort, Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We wouldn't recommend this for larger rigs. Ours is a 40 foot. We asked for a pull thru, but you have to unhook as the roads are very narrow and when you have to go around a curve, you may have to back up to maneuver around the curve. And when we were getting ready to leave we had to ask the people in front/across from us to move their truck so that we could get out on the very narrow road. Thank goodness they were very gracious in accommodating us. The people in the office were very friendly and the park itself has lots of grass and is very clean. We would not stay here again because of the hassle of maneuvering the RV in and out. We camped at Eagle Nest RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills RV Park but is such a great place if you like being in the country and yet only 2 miles to Dillon. The sites were very spacious and each site had grass. It is right off the highway, but far enough so you heard no traffic noise. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Pioneer Beach Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a bit overpriced, but I guess that is because you can walk across the boardwalk to the beach. The sites were concrete and had plenty of space. The sites had nice picnic tables. There was a large fenced in dog park which our dogs loved. We camped at Pioneer Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a nice RV Park. It has long pull thrus and concrete pads and patio. Grass at each site. Very spacious. The staff were all very nice. Fenced in dog run. We didn't use any of the facilities. But everything outdoors was very clean and tidy. Easy on and off I-40. We ordered pizza from their deli area. You order and they will call when it's ready. We would definitely stay here again. Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The park is between Amarillo TX and Albuquerque/Gallup NM and is a great place to stop. It is a bit rustic with no frills, which we are fine with. The roads are a bit narrow, but you/re still able to get around (we were in a 40 ft. motorhome) The site we were in was long enough so that we didn't have to unhook. The sites are mostly dirt and gravel and had a picnic table at the site. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had dinner at their restaurant and there was a lot to pick from. My husband had the ribs and I had the steak. Both were delicious and we didn't have to unhook. Plus, they will deliver to your RV. Can't ask for anything more. We would definitely stop here again. One thing, our GPS was a little off when directing us to this campground. You would have to take Exit 277 if going west. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest RV Resort that we've stayed at. We were in a long pull thru and had a concrete pad with a concrete patio, grass and a picnic table. The WiFi worked very good. There is a bus stop right outside the park which will take you to the San Antonio River Walk. Lots of wonderful trees and bushes throughout the park. There is a wonderful river walk trail which is right next to the park and it is great to walk and ride your bike and has beautiful scenery. One downfall, it you want to use your satellite there are limited spaces for this as there are a lot of trees, etc. The cable worked great. The office people were very friendly and so helpful. We were parked right next to the pool and it looked great. We would recommend this park to everyone. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We drove t0 the historical town of Gruene (pronounced Green). It is about 40 miles north east of San Antonio. What a great place to visit. Lots of old buildings and fun shops. It is definitely worth driving the 40 miles. Lots to see and do there.
