Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The campground itself is very nicely located right off the Highway 22 bypass. This makes getting to the camp easy and you miss all the downtown traffic. There is a Super Walmart very near by. Our campsite was right next to the Ocean. There is a lot of foot traffic of people walking by to the Ocean and walking their dogs on the beach. The bathouses were some of the best we have ever been to. Each campsite has a picnic table shelter. The seasonal campers use the shelters in very different ways, like mini recreation rooms. The management was very professional. The campground restaurant, lazy river, and camp store was closed this time of the season. The WiFi is not free. Some of the roads are not paved, but I believe it would be hard to with all the sand. Be prepared for lots of sand. Bring your mats, rugs and vacuum cleaners. You are on a beach. We would definitely go back to Myrtle Beach Travel Park Campground. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Truck Camper.
