Sugar Sands RV Resort, Gulf Shores, Alabama
Date of Stay:
May, 2019 -
$69.00
Overall Rating:
Nice large concrete sites FHU. Back-in sites are the nicest. Mostly adults but there is a pool and small play area. Pet friendly. It is a few miles to the beach, but we are fine with that. It is far enough off the highway to not have noise. We will return. We camped at Sugar Sands RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
We like to visit Fort Morgan and also Pensacola Naval Air Museum.

Rock Cabin Camping, Cave City, Kentucky
Date of Stay:
June, 2018 -
$33.00
Overall Rating:
Small campground with a few RV sites. We didn't use the cabins, but I looked through one. Web pics are correct. This is a no frills park that is quiet for a couple of days stay. The owners are among the nicest we've encountered in over 20 years of camping. I would recommend for cabin stays or small RVs. Took several attempts to get in our spot with 33-34 foot camper but would be easy for a small camper. Had to maneuver to get back far enough for power outlet. We camped at Rock Cabin Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Blue Bluff Recreation COE, Aberdeen, Mississippi
Date of Stay:
October, 2016 -
$20.00
Overall Rating:
Park has two loops. Large loop has larger playground. Roads and sites evenly paved. Water and electric have good service. Sites are large and and spacious between most. Swim area is ok but outside of camping area. We camped at Blue Bluff Recreation COE in a Fifth Wheel.
Not much in town to do except small downtown shopping and an old theatre has been renewed showing mostly family movies.
