Sherman County RV Park, Moro, Oregon
Date of Stay:
November, 2018 -
$20.00
Overall Rating:
This park is an easy one day drive on back roads from the SEATTLE area on HWY 97. It gets a ten because of the long LEVEL pull thrus, immaculate shower house, lighting fast internet, helpful park managers, easy hook ups and only 20 bucks! If it were $35 a nite I wood still stay but rate it an 8. Please do not tell these people what a bargain their park is. We camped at Sherman County RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Just a convenient stop over when going to or coming from Oregon.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah
Date of Stay:
April, 2018 -
$50.00
Overall Rating:
I agree with my previous reviewer. This park is a 91/2 to 10 in my opinion. Too cold to open the pools, no problem. The friendly staff issued me a card to use the hotels indoor pool and spa. I normally do not like to spend $50/night but these premium spaces coupled with all the other first class amenities makes this park a bargain. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park), Alamo, Nevada
Date of Stay:
April, 2018 -
$32.00
Overall Rating:
Friendly folks running the park. Supper easy pull thrus with what amounts to a vacant normal space on each side of us with this back to back layout. Cross a street and up the stairs and your at the town market. Three doors down a side street and a family Mexican American restaurant will fill you up from 8:00am to 8:00 pm. This is a small park with folks who want your visit to be fun and it was. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.
Old mines, ghost towns, wildlife preserves, state parks and hot spring all with in short drives.

Canyon Trail RV Park, Boulder City, Nevada
Date of Stay:
April, 2018 -
$42.00
Overall Rating:
First off the park is immaculate and very pretty for a desert park. Shows pride of ownership. The reason I picked this park was that I called ahead to be sure that the hot tub was working. My poor old back really benefits from a good hot soak after a day's drive. Lots of rules here. I was instructed to notify the office if I wanted to use the tub. They would then turn on the propane heater on 1/2 hr earlier. When I did this they forgot to turn it on, and I was told that their lawyer advised not to heat the tub over 101 due to chance of heart attack suits. At this point this place kind of lost it's camp ground flavor. These families have run this park for a long time and have gotten kind of defensive probably for good reason. I will not be driving the extra 10 miles from my grand kids house to stay at this park. Other than my hot tub fetish, I would recommend this especially for large rigs.
If you are looking for a spotless place to get in and out of easily, this will do you well. We

Picacho Peak RV Resort (55+ park), Picacho, Arizona
Date of Stay:
March, 2017 -
$29.00
Overall Rating:
Five star if there was WiFi and less highway and train noise. The facility is a $40 plus facility for under $30! The pool and Jacuzzi are first class. The on site exterior evening restaurant has good food and service at very fair prices and No Dishes! I have stayed here several times over the last ten years. I have never been disappointment. Our pull thru was a bit tight but we were told that this summer they were scheduled to be reconfigured to make then easier to access. Our wide body with apposing slides fit just fine. We camped at Picacho Peak RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort, Deming, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
March, 2017 -
$27.00
Overall Rating:
Clean desert park with strong 50 amp services. Great indoor clean pool and jacuzzi. Long strong hot pounding jacuzzi jets on my sore spots after a long day of pretending that I am a good motor home driver makes this a favorite park. The staff is very helpful and in and out is a snap. Planned 1 over nite and they got me form 2 nites each way! We camped at Little Vineyard RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.
39 miles to Palomas Mexico. Miniature Algodones.

Red Barn RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
March, 2017 -
$29.00
Overall Rating:
Great owner service and advice. Big clean site with grass and view of an alfalfa field. Snacks and drinks on sale on the honor system. Easy in and out. Will stay here again. No pool but the owner put us in with the New Mexico Military School's multi million dollar pool with 12' dive (which I did not use). We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.
Cowboy Cafe just down the road rated #1. Their other recommendation was #3 in town.

Summer Lake Hot Springs RV Park, Paisley, Oregon
Date of Stay:
May, 2016 -
$50.00
Overall Rating:
The hot springs, remote location, good people all add to make a great experience. We had to leave a day earily and ask if we could have a free day on our next visit. No hassle just here you are a card signed by the owner. Cloths are required until 9:00 PM. TWO PERFECT ROCK HOT HOT POOLS......out side and a great barn w/showers and inside soaking pool to protect you from the occasional wind. Best check out the web site. You will either love the funk or think I am crazy. We camped at Summer Lake Hot Springs RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico
Date of Stay:
April, 2016 -
$19.00
Overall Rating:
The rate is for 2 nights Passport and one night AAA, averaged. Large private spaces, friendly employees, individual bathrooms just like home, nice laundry and just enough western "feel" to make this an almost perfect campground. The pile of city tax and chilly weather can not be blamed on the park. Hope to be able to enjoy a longer stay next trip. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
Near all major stores yet rural feel. Major gas and large RV store near by.

Apache Gold Casino RV Park, San Carlos, Arizona
Date of Stay:
April, 2016 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
This is a nicely designed and constructed facility that unfortunately gets only minimal if any maintenance. Pool paint peeling, no soap in bathroom, locks don't work, office staff does not care if you are there or not. If it breaks around here it stays broken. I must thank the employees who warned me about the restaurants in the casino. I hear that the steak house is better. Don't loan your partner your free players card. They may accuse her of being a thief! Won't be back, sadly. We camped at Apache Gold Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.
China Taste Buffet is great food in town and lunch was only $7

Peterson's Tecopa Palms RV Park, Tecopa Hot Springs, California
Date of Stay:
December, 2015 -
$12.00
Overall Rating:
The $12 is based on monthly rates. We have been staying here for 15 years and it just gets better each year. We have a home about 40 miles from here yet we prefer to spend Christmas and New Years here with great friends and the healing hot springs. Trips to old gold mines, Death Valley and then a soak in the springs....it just does not get any better!
Morning coffee is accompanied with bakery goods donated by some of the campers. Happy hour is usually followed by card games and occasionally a communal camp fire. Wifi is good and the restrooms, free private hot spring baths, clubhouse and grounds are spotless. Your cell phone will most likely not work and that can be another reason to visit here. We
camped at Peterson's Tecopa Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.
Scotties Castle, Saratoga Springs, Death Valley, Lake Side Golf, Furnace Creek Golf, Jeep and ATV trails, 65 miles to the Strip in Las Vegas, supplies in Pahrump (37 miles), Auctions, Casinos, Senior Center and another 30 or so things to do and clubs to join.

Wenatchee River County Park, Monitor, Washington
Date of Stay:
June, 2014 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
Really nice park that we have stayed at several times. The employees have always been great. Not "government type" workers but folks who are proud of their park. If it were not for the hwy noise, no cable and the fear of you RV'ers that only stay in 9 or 10's crowding us out we would rate it higher. If you are coming from Wenatchee on hwy 2 the enterence is from a really short left turn lane. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kaslo Municipal Campground, Kaslo, British Columbia
Date of Stay:
May, 2014 -
$27.00
Overall Rating:
This park is a pleasure. The manager seemed to be continually working to keep this grass covered park in top shape. There is a free dump at the park. The manager even offered us the key if we wanted to use the dump before our very early departure on Sunday morning. Kaslo is a charming little town close to Ainsworth Hot Springs. Our space was an easy in and out for our 50' long truck and travel trailer. The park is bordered by the lake and a nice city park. We stayed two extra days and will choose it again. The management and camp cleanliness both rate a 10. We camped at Kaslo Municipal Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Murphy's Landing Creekside & Lakefront Resort, Nakusp, British Columbia
Date of Stay:
May, 2014 -
$35.00
Overall Rating:
The other reviews must be for a different camp. Murphy's is located about a mile south of the turnoff to Nakusp Hot Springs Turnoff. We had a huge shaded space with cable TV, fire pit, table, our own trash and recycle cans and a fuel station with propane, morning coffee, and even a clean laundry across the road. Even though we choose a site close to the hwy, there was little noise. We are on the BC hot springs circle route. Nakusp hot springs and this camp rank our favorite so far. The wonderful hot springs and the Owner's Irish charm far and away made up for the fact that Murphy's has no restroom facilities. Plan to stay longer than you think you will. We did. We camped at Murphy's Landing Creekside & Lakefront Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Border Inn RV Park, Baker, Nevada
Date of Stay:
April, 2014 -
$22.00
Overall Rating:
Great stop over for the Lehman cave. Nice arcade for the kid in all of us. Casino, store, and a really good reasonably priced full service restaurant rates this at least a 7 or 8. The cheap daily rate and the friendly staff bump it up to at least a 9. We camped at Border Inn RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
