Lilac Oaks Campground, Valley Center, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We booked in advance two nights. We Changed or plans. Camp ground gives no refunds for any reason. We went there. Saw how small the sites were, tried to get a 39ft fifth wheel in, but not enough room to maneuver. Finally insisted o a refund to size of site and conditions. Lady was good to help had to contact manager to do refund. Park is ok for small campers, but it is very old and needs some up grades. Would not go back in a big rig. We camped at Lilac Oaks Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sycamore Lodge, Jackson Springs, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here on a free gift to hear the proposal for membership and get a free night of camping. This CG is very nice. They have spent a lot of money to get going. The lodge is beautiful adjoined by large pool and spa. General store, put-put, horse shoes, tennis, shuffle board, fishing, canoeing, games and the live entertainment is great. Folks of all walks and the staff are very nice. CG is well set away from town but convenient and quiet. A great place for all campers that love the out of doors. We joined and recommend this CG for future guest and members. We camped at Sycamore Lodge in a Travel Trailer.

Camped here with a Holiday Rambler Club. Nice CG near town with nice mountain views. No special activities available, do your own thing. Very nice bathrooms and shower house. Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is still under construction in some areas but for the most part it is great. It features nice big lots and a shelter for cookouts and gatherings. Two private fish lakes are neat. It is a country setting close to town. There are no activities at this time nor country store. Take it with you in and use it up. There is a great staff. We enjoyed it. We will go back next year. There is lots to see around the area. We camped at Mayberry Campground in a Travel Trailer.
