Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

It is gated with 24 hour security. There are lots of seasonal sites. There is a great pool area. Friendly Hold Em games are held 3 times a week in the Clubhouse. Depending on wind, planes are quite close by as they land/take off from McCarran Airport every 2 minutes. Ask for interior site away from the highway (more noise than the planes). The cafe has decent food. Kareoke and buffet dinner *$8.50 on Fridays. It is a very well maintained park with pleasant staff. It is about 15 minutes to strip. Grocery stores, banks, gas etc are 5mins away. The WiFi works great but is pricy ($20/week or $40/month). There are good cable stations. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Park, LLC, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for one night. There is some highway noise. It's 4 miles to Dillon for groceries, gas, restaurants, etc. Park is easy to find and access for big rigs. One big concern: there are no stall doors in the women's washroom! There are dividing walls but no doors. A big deal for kids and anyone wanting privacy. I can't imagine why they were removed. We did not have water (November). Wi-Fi is free and reception was great! We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice city campground about 1.5 miles from I-15. Tight turns inside; clean, well equipped with RV supplies in the store. Mostly seasonal/long term RVs all newer. Lots of road noise. Walking distance to Wal-Mart, restaurants, convenience store. Flying J is on the corner. Free Wi-Fi with good signal strength. Great cable TV. Nice owners. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar City KOA, Cedar City, Utah

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Park is well laid out and very well maintained. A bit pricey for low season even after KOA card discount. Take Exit 62, go 2.5 miles south; it is on your right. Some traffic noise but not bad. Large trees for shade. Sites are close together but not a big deal in low season or for 1 night. We camped at Cedar City KOA in a Motorhome.

Marina Bay RV Resort, Kemah, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week here on the bayou. Lots of things to do in Kemah, Galveston (30min) and Houston (30min). 3 pools, good laundry and no noise. Lots of seasonals but well kept sites, so no concern either. Close to Target, Home Depot and restaurants. Nice dog walking area. A few too many rules posted, but no one seemed to be over-focused on enforcing things. Also has an adult only area. Good cable and Wi-Fi (no extra fee). We camped at Marina Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.
