They rate themselves as a 5 star resort...... more like a 1 star gravel pit! Dirt roads = lots of dust. Drivers speed through the park stirring up dust. There was a few golf carts & ATVs ripping around as well like it was a race track. Contacting security to complain was a waste of time. The sites are perfectly spaced, if you'd like to read your neighbors newspaper from within your own RV. Our site was a back in, not level and very poor power. The water tap is shared with the site beside, which is OK if either has a hose splitter to share the tap. Sewer hookups were not positioned very well. People seem to let their dogs drop their turds anywhere, the ones that do pick up after their pets toss their little poo bags under parked Canadian RV's. Bathrooms & showers were not very clean, but that's really the patrons. I wonder if they live in filth in their own homes? Didn't get a chance to try the pool but it seemed to look OK. The kids pool was busy. Can't remember what we paid, my wife takes care of that. The owners seem to be content with their membership campers to bother upgrading/fixing the park so there's nothing really there to make it an enjoyable stay for us. We camped at Beachwood RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Birch Bay state park is an easy walk or bike ride as is the main commercial area of Birch Bay where the restaurants, bars & liquor store are located
