Cluxewe Resort, Port McNeill, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

First off the park is only an 8 if you like rustic. It is located just off hwy 19 on a dusty gravel rd. It is owned and operated by Kwakiutl First Nation. Sites range from very rustic to full hookups. 30 amp power has always been suspect and use of a/c not recommended. Park is on the shores of Broughton strait which enable fishers to cast from shore for salmon. Views from sites are breathtaking. During our stay park ran out of water due to drought conditions, but water restored later in day minus showers and laundry. There is a small bistro on site that serves native dishes. As we dined we watched cruise ships en route to Alaska. The park gets heavy use during fishing season. The park is one of Van Isles best kept secrets. We camped at Cluxewe Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Salmon Point RV Park, Campbell River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Park is at peak of season and jammed. Wifi is woefully inadequate due to overuse. Still a charming place with pool, boat basin and spectacular ocean views. Pk has been a stop for us for many yrs and we still luv it. Also great fishing deztination. In spite of heavy use pk is still orderly and quiet at nite. We camped at Salmon Point RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sayward Valley Resort, Sayward, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well known local RV park formerly known as FIsherboy RV Park. It assumed new ownership about one year ago. The park has been spruced up and the new owners are very hospitable and willing to assist when needed. The park is situated about 3 miles west of Sayward just off Highway 19. We camped at Sayward Valley Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Bellingham RV Park, Bellingham, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy off I5, right in Bellingham, handy to Bellis Fair SS and all services. Hookups accessible. Quite a few permanent residents. Manager is always friendly and efficient. I would not consider this a "destination park", but more of a place to stop on the way to somewhere else. Good TV and wifi. We camped at Bellingham RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lucky Eagle Casino RV Park, Rochester, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived at Lucky Eagle Casino and observed what we thought to be rv spaces adjacent. Checked in at lobby and were told full service rv pk located about 1 mile from Casino. Arrived to find open field with pull through rv sites, water & power - no sewer. Very small kiosk nearby to checkin. Several rv's in at same time and confusion reigned as assigned sites were already occupied. There is no supervision and no security. What was unsettling was almost every open field near rv park filled with small booths selling fireworks. Obviously not regulated on Indian land. As evening approached it sounded as though we were in middle of Viet Nam with the number of explosions. This went on into the night leaving one with some anxiety due to no security. It was not a great rv experience and we do not think we will be back. We camped at Lucky Eagle Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cannon Beach RV Resort, Cannon Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We have been using this park for years and it remains one of the top stops on Hwy 101. The setting is pristine, sites are quite private and spacious, TV and wifi are good. Cannon Beach offers services, shops and bistros second to none. This is one of the few tiimes we visited at peak season. The town which is within walking distance from the park was full of visitors, yet the congestion was tolerable. It is an rv stop that all of us should experience at least once. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Park is situated adjacent to Newports historic bridge. Sites are close and laid out on pavement with very little vegetation. Laundry and washrooms are close by. Cable TV is adequate, but wifi collapses under a heavy load. Newport offers all shopping that is largely located on hwy 101 which runs through the city. Dont miss visiting old town located at Newport harbor. It is full of shops, pubs and seafood restaurants. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean orderly rv park, mostly concrete with landscaping. Quite a few full timers here, but the rv's are new and no indication of long term detritus around. Good hookups, excellent TV and wifi. Code required to enter the park so good security. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Travel Trailer.

Do not miss a tour of Oldtown downtown Florence. Most of the newer businesses are located on Hwy 101 that passes thru the town limits. Oldtown is situated on the harbourfront and consists of many small shops and businesses along with coffee bistros and restaurants. We observed some of the nicest quality handicrafts and art seen on scenic Hwy 101.

The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park is situated within walking distance of casino, adjacent to the ocean, with shuttles available. Are we RV people "born to lose"? Busy, very smoky casino. Nice walking path around park with small enclosed off leash dog area. People with small dogs leaving their pet deposits lying around without bothering to pick up even though their are bags and refuse barrel provided. Is it any wonder RV dogs seem less welcome all the time? Sites are spacious with excellent cable TV and wifi. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We have been visiting 7 Feathers rv park when they had a few plug ins adjacent to the casino. Then they built this spectacular site just across I-5 from the casino. The upkeep, cleanliness and organization has remained best in class. A wonderful pool and work out facility is included. It could even be classed as a destination park without the casino. As has been mentioned there probably is not a bad site in the park. Two areas need to be addressed: first, the cable tv is the strangest set of channels we have encountered. I believe they subscribe to Dish TV. The channel list they supply does not match the channels you receive. I enquired at the offfice. They were quite vague and gave me a list of instructios on how to program my TV. That is not the problem. Second: Wifi. The procedure is to log into their site thru your browser. You are then given 8 hrs duration. Almost every time we used our tablets we were required to go thru this process because we had been knocked off. While these two items are not critical, it was the only reason I did not give them a 10. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Canyonville, just down the road from the casino. This small village thrives because of the casino, and has grown considerably over the years. There is a bank, some neat little shops and bistros. Also vist the 7 feathers truck stop across the road from casino. Great selection of food and gifts. Very good restaurant

Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park, Redmond, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is well laid out adjacent to exhibition grounds. All services and shopping located nearby. Nice open grass field next to pm to let ur dog run. Good tv on antenna but no cable. Laundry marginal and not too clean. Most frustrating was wifi. They claim a wifi service but neither of our tablets wud permit stating it was unsecured. They really need to fix this. A nice golf course located within walking distance of pk. We camped at Deschutes County Fair & Expo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bridge RV Park & Campground, White Salmon, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean well laid out rv park overlooking the columbia river. It would be a 10 had it not been for a very busy noisy road that runs right past the park. This combined with a well used rail track immediately next to the park detracts from the tranquillity and ambience. We camped at Bridge RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Users coming from Hwy 84 on the south side of the Columbia will encounter a toll bridge that you must navigate in order to get to Bridge RV which is situated on the Wash. side of the Columbia. The bridge is only 18' wide and is at least 1 Km in length. The toll is $2.00 per vehicle each way. One would be better off crossing the Columbia at The Dalles on Hwy 197 to Hwy 14 which will take you to Bridge RV Park on the Wash. side, thus allowing you to avoid the narrow bridge.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived at the beginning of the Memorial Holiday in USA. Park was filled to capacity with many activities ongoing to celebrate the holiday. The park is well run and even when crowded it was a pleasant place to be. A pool is available with lots of sporting equipment such as volley ball, basketball, raquet sports abound. The three communities making up the tri cities do not really have downtown locations, but shopping malls offering every aspect of merchandise surround the park. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wenatchee River County Park, Monitor, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

You know what they say, location, location, location. This is a beautifully treed, spacious rv park adjacent to the Wenatchee river. Hookups are modern and well placed. The park is very secure and well supervised. I could be a premier rv destination......except for being located right next to interstate hwy #2. For most of the day you are subjected to the constant roar of the freeway. It subsides during evening hours slightly. Wenatchee is only a short drive but traffic is bumper to bumper in and out. There is lots to do and see once in the city, but getting there is not half the fun. The park itself offers minimal activity and recreation. There are no walking trails nearby and the freeway holds you captive. We camped at Wenatchee River County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A well run park operated by the Samos Indian Band. Sites are well planned, many with oceanfront and views for a little extra money. Great hookups, cement pads and lots of lush grass. A wonderful walking trail, about 3 miles long will take you into the saturday farmers market where you can buy baked goods veggies and listen to music. It is also in the heart of downtown Annacortes. A large casino is just minutes away. We have been here before and it is always a pleasure to stay. We camped at Fidalgo Bay Resort in a Travel Trailer.
