Oklahoma City East KOA, Choctaw, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice facility. The site was concrete and level with shade. There was ample space between sites. Services provided (full) were excellent. There is a free shuttle to and from the Cowboy Museum nearby. The facility is well kept and spacious and appears relatively new. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Oklahoma City East KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

A very pleasant park/campground. The site was level concrete, and spacious with shade. Entrance was easy in and out. Services provided were very good and the staff very accommodating, assisting with setup. We were here just the one night passing through, but would stay again if in the area. Admiralty RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park/campground. It rained heavily one night creating a large pool at my RV entrance door. Park management layered a portable entrance "moat" which made it an easy "in & out". A free shuttle service is available to Seaworld. The sites, concrete & level, are a bit small for some of the larger big rigs, but was adequate for my 32 foot 5'vr. A city bus stop into San Antonio is a short walk from the entrance. Don't miss an opportunity to visit the San Antonio Symphony in performance at it's digs in the Majestic Theatre. The architectural detail inside is mind boggling. The Admiralty staff and services provided were superb. We would stay here again. We camped at Admiralty RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Poche Plantation, Convent, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent rating in that it met all our needs and did so in an accommodating fashion. The owner is as mentioned, quite a character, and you should make an effort to engage him in conversation. His plantation house has a history and you can tour it, but do not miss a nearby plantation "Houma House". We would return if passing through, albeit avoid route 10 by using route 12 around. We camped at Poche Plantation in a Fifth Wheel.

April Valley RV Park, Pickens, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A clean and quiet facility. Campground appears to be a work in progress: still developing. Road directions were a bit nebulous, but eventually found the place. All in all, not bad. We camped at April Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tombstone Territories RV Resort, Huachuca City, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The Campground is somewhat remote but accessible by good roads. It's very quiet, and has spacious views of the distant mountains. The sites were very spacious and well kept. Electricity is billed separate - not a problem for us. We very much enjoyed our stay of a few days, and would return without hesitation. We camped at Tombstone Territories RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Moab Valley RV Resort , Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Asked for a pull-through site for a one night stay and was assigned one that required me to unhook the tow vehicle, otherwise I'd be blocking the through-way. The office staff exhibited a somewhat arrogant and imperious attitude when I questioned them about longer, open spaces (that went unoccupied throughout the night). Couple this with discovering the following morning at departure, a broken rear tail lamp cover. Just a very disconcerting experience. Coincidentally, I noticed a motorhome adjacent to me with a broken driver's side glass window broken. Coincidence? Perhaps, but I don't believe I'll be staying here again. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
