North Point Landing RV Park, Kingsland, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Might not want to stay here if you have a dog. They have let weeds take over the RV park and the little yellow weed blooms turn into stickery like balls Anytime our dog goes out, it takes a while to get 15-20 stickery things off. Some weed killer would surely help. Also they have locked two of the three entrances to the place, so it adds extra time to get places. It is quiet and pretty even though you might need a 40 foot electrical cord to hook up - most hookups are on the wrong side. We camped at North Point Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Castroville Regional Park, Castroville, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful city park. Very quiet and peaceful with river and walking trails. No frills, but very nice and park host is excellent. (Enforces rules but is very friendly and helpful). We have been coming here for about 7 years. It is one of our favorite places, but WIFI is poor. We camped at Castroville Regional Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Marina Beach RV Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We loved it here. People in office were great. Nice, friendly, convenient place. Our only problem was the dog walk areas: stickers, stickers, and more stickers. If you have pets, you might double check. We camped at Marina Beach RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Northshore RV Resort & Marina, Onalaska, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Best around and very nice people, but very neglected through winter-trash cans overflowing and not emptied for weeks, old car tire laying out, wrecked trailer on premises, trash blown around and not picked up, dog park neglected etc. Wi-Fi is poor. We were upset-they said we couldn't reserve a certain spot, but if it was available when we arrived, we could have it. We arrived-our favorite spot was available, but they said we couldn't have it-it was RESERVED for someone spending 2-3 nights. We had planned to stay 3 months. Our feelings were hurt so we stayed only one month and moved and took 3 friends with us. That slap in the face cost them about $2000.00. We camped at Northshore RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Castroville Regional Park, Castroville, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We think this is the best kept secret in Texas. The park is quiet and peaceful and well kept. The park hosts are friendly and very accommodating. The laundry is good and we thought everything was great. We plan to return for another month and bring friends with us. We plan to spend at least two months next winter. This is our favorite campground! We do wish they had cable T.V. We camped at Castroville Regional Park in a Fifth Wheel.
