Sundance RV Park, Cortez, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A clean, well kept park with no amenities. There is a pet area which is pretty much ignored by those with pets. Good access to all Cortez and the 4 Corners has to offer. Easy in and out and close restaurants. We would stay here again. We camped at Sundance RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Overall Rating:

A very good park; lots of amenities, friendly owner and staff. We stayed here a few years ago and since then the owner has made massive improvements and continues to add to those. We highly recommend this park. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stagecoach Stop RV Resort, Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Directional signs from the highway are non-existent. You really need to do a lot of guesswork to get into the correct lane to turn into the street that accesses the park. The park is fairly easy to get in and out of the sites. It is all concrete and rock and hot! The individual who checked us in, had a horrid attitude and was less than helpful. We thought the price too high for this park. Surely there are more welcoming parks in the Albuquerque area. We will not stay here again. We camped at Stagecoach Stop RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Presque Isle Passage, Fairview, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this campground the night of July 4th. Our site, a 50 amp pull through, had low voltage (100) and we were unable to run any of our equipment for fear of burning them out. Low voltage was everywhere in the park but not as low as our site. The park management had numerous excuses for the low voltage and incorrect wiring at our site. The management took a ho-hum attitude concerning his voltage problem and when we asked for credit they promised to call; that was 2 weeks ago and we have heard nothing. No matter what we pay, we expect the park to furnish what they advertise not to risk burning up our expensive equipment for their gain. The park sites are tight and the campground isn't what we consider nice. We would not recommend this campground for large rigs requiring 50 amp. We camped at Presque Isle Passage in a Fifth Wheel.

Roadrunner RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a destination park. It is very clean, has level, paved sites and is well maintained. There are no amenities except cable TV. There is easy access from I-35 and the park can accommodate larger rigs. Owner increased the nightly rate from $24 to pay for cable TV. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rayford Crossing RV Resort, Spring, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Cable TV is very poor: all snow. Park is lovely, sites are level and everything is paved. Access is very tight and difficult with two sharp turns. The turn off is dicey with obvious damage from previous rigs dropping their wheels off the corner. Park maintains they are working with city to get this corrected. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Majestic Oaks RV Resort, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean, totally paved, upscale park. It has wide, easily accessible, level sites. The location is in a questionable part of Biloxi. Access from the Gulf has narrow roads. Price is steep for the location. We camped at Majestic Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Woodsmoke Camping Resort, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Pricey park but lovely: sites were clean, paved and wide enough. Front desk personnel were very helpful and accommodating. The pool was heated to 86 degrees. The activities listed were amazing. The location gives easy access to all Ft. Myers and neighboring cities. Don't miss the entertainment and food at the Sandy Parrot, close by on 41. We camped at Woodsmoke Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Motor Inns Motel & RV Park, Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is an "okay" campground for an overnight stay. It's in a rough neighborhood. The sites are grass, level and large, accommodating our 35 footer well. A real bargain with a Passport discount. We would not make this a destination park. We camped at Motor Inns Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady Acres Campground, Mobile, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Tough turns getting to campground as well as in the park. Limited pull-through sites and there are many park model trailers. Our site was level and okay for our 35 footer, but the campground is on a slope. It's an old campground but okay for an overnight stay. Owner very friendly and helpful. We camped at Shady Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
