Wells Fargo RV Park, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The daily rate reflects the fact we stayed a month. Yes the sites are tight but the convenience of being right in the historical section of town is worth it. We were fortunate because we were put into a large roomy site. This park is old but very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The cable TV was good, the Wi-Fi average. Verizon works great. We will stay here again. Highly recommend this park. So much to see and do while learning about the history of the old west. We camped at Wells Fargo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

Coast to Coast rate for 50 amps. We stayed 5 nights. Our first time at this park. We will stay here again because we come to Albuquerque often. Love this park. Its on the old Route 66 and the buildings are old adobe. They have a cute shop. Our space was adequate side to side. Laundry room and restroom are clean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Right next door to Camping World. Sprint and Verizon work here. Negatives: Highway noise and Wi-Fi is weak. We have our own WiFi so isn't a problem for us. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Motorhome.

Rutlader Outpost RV Park, Louisburg, Kansas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

The nightly rate was based on monthly rate. We stayed for six weeks in this park, because of business in Kansas City. Staff is very nice, friendly, and helpful. The Park is mostly long term residents working in the area. The park itself is clean, but a little dusty and the spaces are large and most have grass. Our stay there was pleasant and we met a lot of nice people. Our space was very large and had a yard behind us. The negative are: restrooms where not clean and the laundry room was always dirty. When we travel we use the restrooms if kept clean, but in this case we did not use the restrooms. The nearest laundromat is 23 miles away so we used the campground laundry. It was dirty. We camped at Rutlader Outpost RV Park in a Motorhome.

Horseshoe Casino RV Park, Council Bluffs, Iowa

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very convenient. Although you park on asphalt there is grass behind each space, which is very nice if you have a pet. The spaces are not large but for a night or two its worth the stay. They have a couple of nice restaurants in the casino. We would stay again if we were passing through. We stayed in a Motor home. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rushmore Shadows RV Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here with Coast to Coast, so we paid with points. I put $3 only because I couldn't put 0 . We usually go to Hart's Ranch but they wouldn't take us because of the Labor day holiday. We found Rushmore shadows to be very nice and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The WiFi worked fair but we have our own so only used it once. This park is close to most of the attractions. Stayed 9 nights. will go back again. Verizon works not Sprint. We stayed in a motor Home. We camped at Rushmore Shadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park may have small sites, but they are very big on hospitality. Even though the sites are tight, we will stay here again. The owner is a wealth of information on the area. This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time only one night, this time for 3 days. A lot to see and do. Verizon works very well. Sprint not so well. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Falls RV Resort , Cheney, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $6.00
Overall Rating:

This park use to be a favorite, but we have a few complaints. No security anymore, people are allow to park on the grass, kids unsupervised running and riding their bikes through our site. If you complain about something nothing is done. The sites that the employees live in are usually messy with junk laying around and a couple of them ride golf carts way to fast. The park use to be clean and tidy rules were in place. The new managers are nice enough but they don't quite have a handle on it yet. We Won't be back. We camped at Ponderosa Falls RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The negatives about this park is highway noise, sites are to close together, and dusty. OK now that we've said that. We had a wonderful stay here, so much fun. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. This is a working Ranch (bison and cattle). The restaurant is good and specialize in bison (which I didn't partake but my husband said was great). Went on a 2 hour horse ride into the hills around here (beautiful). If you have children this is the place; there are several playgrounds. They also have a train ride that takes you around the ranch. We only stayed 2 nights, so we didn't do all the activities. Great place to relax and have some fun. Wi-fi is so so. No cable, but we were able to get a few channels from antenna (you won't have much time for TV anyway). We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Personal unisex restrooms (4 of them) that are spotless. The sites are very large. Approximately 10 spaces were long term, but were nicely maintained . This park is very clean. The owners in the office were so friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. Wi-Fi worked great. Walked to the Fort Bridger Museum and park and found it very interesting. We had a Moose walk through our space and say hello. We had a great visit. We camped at Fort Bridger RV Camp in a Motorhome.

McCammon RV Park, Mccammon, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Only one other rv in park that looked like long term, maybe camp host. This park is a complete mess. No work has been done in ages. Restrooms and showers were dirty, really dirty. We only stayed one night, usually stay in Pocatello. This park could be a great place, sites are huge, but needs to be cleaned up. OK for quick overnight, but we will not stay again. WIfi does not work in park. Our verizon worked great, sprint ok. We camped at McCammon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This Park is very nice and clean. The sites are average size and have cement pads. Great Views. We only stayed one night and probably wouldn't stay longer. Not any good restaurants in town. We ate at the Casino and it was OK. The area is very windy most of the time. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.
